This is one of the best books I have encountered. Mankiw breaks down each point so that you can easily understand it with many examples as well as many charts and graphs for ease of understanding.

I ordered this textbook because of a desire to refresh my knowledge of basic economics. So many things have happened this year in the news and my ability to understand the jargon associated with the issues was lacking. Mankiw's texts have been favorites on most campuses. The newest editions are very expensive, so when I saw the prior edition for sale at a fraction of the original price, I jumped at the opportunity to own the book. Even though the edition is 3 years older than the newest edition, it has met and exceeded my needs. The book was in perfect condition and I would not hesitate to order a book again from this source.

Unfortunately I did not receive this particular book and got the macro version. However, when I borrowed my friend's version it was more than helpful in understanding my micro class (the book has both macro and micro economics sections).
