I had my prostate removed several years ago and this device has been very helpful in resuming my sexual activity. I had purchased several other ones which all had problems. There are two components which are important on this device, the pump and the sealing which fits on the plastic tube and your penis. This pump is much more heavy duty then the pistol grip type and the seal is much better also because it is soft plastic which has a lot of stretch. So many other ones were industrial CV joint boots which were very inflexible and almost impossible to use. Unfortunately it's hard to tell from a photograph how flexible that the seal is and I have several pumps which I purchased that are not useable.
This one doesd what it says it will.

Rubber plug too flimsy - sucks EVERYTHING in.

This device looks simple enough but not at all what I expected. The black plug at the bottom has a hole about the size of a quarter to insert your appendage. Now, I'm not a porn star, but I'm not tiny, either - going by what charts say is "average", I'm a bit above. So, when erect, the hole is smaller than my erection so there should not be a problem, right? Well - the plastic in the bottom "plug" with the insertion hole is so incredibly thin and flimsy, as long as I keep the pump pressed firmly around my base and don't move, it will hold a suction - yet if I attempt to "pump" with it, the second I move it, the flimsy plastic is SO thin and flimsy, air rushes in - and then my testicles follow. Well - with my penis and 2 testicles inside - well that's a big enough and sturdy enough amount of flesh to prevent further vacuum loss. Of course, I also can't get any enjoyment from the device, either. I purchased this based on the rating of the product. Either everyone else who bought this has an extra wide penis or the plug isn't so flimsy or a different type of base was purchased with it. I normally wouldn't embarrass myself with a post like this, as it infers that I'm small and I know for a fact that I'm not - but this was a complete waste of money.

The boot ripped the 3rd time I used it. The other boot is to small for me to fit thru. The gauge doesn't work properly, it is on 5psi when it should be on zero. The hose to the handle is to short, it needs another 6 to 12 inches to facilitate comfort. Without the boot you can use it still but you are better of removing your public hair because it won't hold suction. You also cannot pump to a high suction without the boot because it will draw your testicle in. Yes that hurt!

When I got this pump, when I tried it it wasn't keeping suction. I figured it was because of the cheap sleeves, so I ordered a few different ones. However, when I tried them on the pump, it still lost suction, no matter how tight of a seal it was making. The vacuum tube itself, at the top where the air pumps out of it, is the issue for the one I got, air flows back through the valve, so it can't maintain negative pressure.

Because of that, I missed the return date by a few days, so I can't get a refund. Which is fine, but it's a good thing to note: if you can't get this to keep a vacuum and constantly need to re-pump it, don't just assume it's the sleeves at fault, it could just be that you got a dud like I did.

I had one of these that worked perfectly before but got sacrificed when I moved, so I'll be ordering another one, but next time I'm going to make sure to request a refund immediately if it doesn't hold a seal.

I've used other vacuum pumps of lower cost that didn't have the power this item has. The pump handle is great improvement over bulb type pumps. The quality of the item very good, worth the cost. I don't really pay much attention to gauge, I pump till I'm satisfied with the amount of suction. I've only have 2 minor issues with pump #1 is the length of shaft it's only 8 1/2 in. long, wish it was an inch or 2 longer. #2 is the diameter of the shaft it's 2 3/8 in. across, could use another 1/4 - 3/8 inches in width.

This cock pump is just okay I’d say. But for the lower price you get what you pay for. It’s sturdy enough just don’t drop it from heights or step on it because it will break. The sucking device/pump is ergonomic and comfortable but cheap so the suction could always be improved. However this does exactly what you want it to do. Cleaning is a little hard because of the design but it’s not to bad. Definitely a plus if your already thicker down there there is more room to grow so to speak. Overall four stars.
