The Manuscript is the 6th book in the Beyond the Realm: Remember series and can be read as a stand-alone. It moves really fast in some parts and it's a short novella. I enjoy all of JD Light's novels so this was a nice and quick read before bedtime :) Well worth your time if you like re-visiting the mythological world with a fantastical twist :) Plus Canton and Omi are just so adorable and sweet together.
I will say that reading the others in this series gives you an understanding about the idea behind the story lines. You can read it without as they are connected just based off a general idea and not in the same setting.
Still read it though if you're just killing time.
I did enjoy the premise of Oracle and Weavers. It's a dynamic I hadn't run into before. I'd love to see the dynamic fleshed out in something about 3 times as long.
If you enjoy VERY quick reads then this is probably a nice lunchtime book to give a shot.
I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review
There is matchmaking, meeting gods, and a little danger, which was fun. The ending felt abrupt to me. I expected more of a climax.
Omi and Canton are completely perfect for each other. Omi always questioning and on guard, yet sweet and endearing at times.
Canton.. well he can be a bit blunt with a fierce protectiveness streak to those he cares deeply for.
Perfect blend for two people who ends up going into Fates' weave.
This is a great book for those who like greek mythology, sweet MM kidnap turned lovers kind of thing.

There are good short books out there, bht this wasnt one of them for me. Like the book description is basically the summary for the first 80% of the story with nothing else to it.
