"Meet your new addiction. A sizzling, decadent, tender love story that kept me up all night. I call dibs on Saint!" (Sylvia Day, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of the Crossfire series)
“Talk about addictive. This book consumed me from the very beginning to its pulse-pounding end. If you’re looking for a book that
is just fun, super addictive and sexy as hell, this is the book to pick up right now.” (Vilma's Book Blog on Manwhore)
“I knew back when I read REAL that Katy Evans would be a writer to watch. But I had to wonder how she would ever come close to
creating a dynamic character like Remy again. Well, Malcolm Saint turned out to be every bit as intriguing and enigmatic—but in his
own sophisticated way.” (Harlequin Junkie on Manwhore)
"Evans once again delivers with a bang, her signature heart-pulverizing alphas that know how to love and f *** better than
all the rest of them—and Saint leaps to the very front of that line.” (Mara White, author of Heights of Desire)

Malcolm and Rachel seem to be opposites. He’s a billionaire playboy who gets whatever he wants. She’s a reporter in a 3 year dry spell who has made a pact with her roommate not to do relationships. Oh, and she’s agreed to get close to Malcolm for an expose. Of course nothing goes as planned. With that looming over the whole story, Malcolm actually pursues her which just complicates things a whole lot more. Malcolm is a straight shooter and is not shy about getting what he wants. Rachel is not only guarding her heart but also protecting her article. Things get steamy and emotions run high. I could feel the emotion just emanating off the pages as I read.
This story line drew me in like only Katy Evans can do. I swear I always devour her books in no time, unable to put it down and this was no exception. The characters (even the secondary ones) had depth to them that really made them seem like real people. The scenes were written really well and I found it very easy to visualize the events in the story as I was reading. I absolutely LOVED this book and I don’t know how I’m going to be able to wait until July to read Manwhore +1. 5 out of 5 stars!!
I knew from the first page this book was going to be amazing. When you fall for your female protagonist in the beginning it ensures you'll feel and maintain that bond through out the book. I really liked Rachel. She works hard to support herself and her mother, whom she loves dearly. I love how she cares for her friends and most importantly, I like how she gives of herself to the community. She's had her life changed by violence and even though her actions may not be huge, she still does things to try and bring awareness and change. She's an adult but she's still innocent in a lot of ways.
Malcolm Saint on the other hand is an adult and he lost his innocence so long ago, he doesn't think he can be surprised. He's broody and moody, and such an enigma. However Rachel really throws him off balance, from the first time they meet. Since this book is told exclusively from Rachel's point of view, what I know of Malcolm is through Rachel's eyes and his actions. Saint might unapologetic about his past or what he wants, but it was clear to me how much he cared for Rachel. The unrepentant manwhore saw something in Rachel that wanted him to be better and do better, where before ennui had reigned. I loved how he wooed Rachel and how confused she was. I never doubted Malcolm, but I did fear for him and his feelings, especially as he began to open up to Rachel.Read more ›
Saint (a 27-year old man-whore billionaire) calls "dibs" on Rachel when she walks up to his group of friends at a club. Literally, he uses the word "dibs." I don't think so. Later, in front of Rachel, Saint bets his friends a sports-car that he will have sex with her a third time. No, just no.
Rachel, on the verge of having sex with Saint, kills the mood by asking this 27-year old man-whore, "How many girls have you kissed?" Yes, she wants to know how many girls he's KISSED. Is this 6th grade? He's a man-whore, Rachel, you can assume he's kissed a lot of girls. In fact, if a 27-year old guy knows how many girls he's KISSED, I'm staying away -- because either the number is so low that he can remember or because he's keeping track.
Rachel's best friends show up at Saint's apartment and learn that Rachel and Saint have been together, then the best friend yells -- in front of Saint and his guy friends -- "I can't believe you've had sex with him twice and didn't tell me?" I was expecting Rachel to say, "I meant to pass you a note in math..." I mean, its just so juvenile.
Oh, then there's the scene where Saint invites her to spend a day on his boat, and he is flanked by two girls feeding him grapes. Yes, feeding him grapes.Read more ›

Could have been great. Disappointing and ironic that it should be called Womanwhore, not Manwhore. And the cliffhanger ending? What a sell outPublished 24 days ago by Amazon Customer
