I bought these to do my initial sharpening of this set of colored pencils:
Sanford Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set, 72/Tin with New Colors.
They bring the pencils to a perfect point every time. I love that it comes with two, and they are very inexpensive for the quality. They are also easy to hold, which is great when you're doing a couple hours worth of manual sharpening. It was the pencils that made my fingers tired, not the sharpener!
I did try the sharpener that came with the pencils, and another made by Prismacolor. I honestly preferred these to either of the others.
In other words, no better than the lousy plastic ones.
So I figured I'd give these a shot, since they were both cheap and well-reviewed. Turns out they live up to the hype: they do a great, even job, make a deathly sharp point, and the minor inconvenience of having to stand over the garbage can to use it really isn't such a big deal in light of such good results!

It sharpens nicely, nothing to say about it. But the thing is every time you sharpened, you have to wash your hands immediately because there is no place to hold the debris:)Published 3 months ago by Hui Li
