Artist and writer, Maracole writes and illustrates art books based on her work of neo-pop surreal artist and her evolution as a woman/artist in this volcanic "début du siècle". Every book written by Maracole explores various genres and subject matters in a personal and unique perspective.
Born and raised in Italy, Maracole lives and works in the States, but periodically embarks in creative journeys across Latin America and Asia, seeking for inspiration and a fresh perspective. Over the years, Maracole developed an infatuation for remains and ancient objects of worship, which her work with ceramics is a happy consequence of.
Maracole designs whim and surrealistic art installations with ceramics and textile, where she's often part of the installation itself. Her background in animation confers her work a playful touch, which makes her art a symbolic "mise en scene" of her personal view of the contemporary.
