USDA Organic is protected by law, inspected by experts, traced from farm to store, and shaped by public input. USDA develops and enforces the organic standards, which require products to be produced using farming practices that maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, conserve biodiversity, and avoid genetic engineering, among other factors. Crops can be certified organic if they’re grown without prohibited substances such as most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Livestock are raised on pasture and treated humanely without growth hormones or antibiotics. Organic products do not contain GMOs or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Products that contain a minimum of 95 percent organic ingredients and use the USDA Organic seal are part of Climate Pledge Friendly.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Super sad they changed the recipe. I can’t do sugar and the previous recipe did not have added sugar which is super hard to find! I ordered today from Whole Foods and was sorely disappointed to see it’s no longer “only 2 ingredients” and has added sugar. I’m sure it tastes great. But the addition of this has rendered it useless for me.
If you’re anything like me, and you love peanut butter, then you want the best. Maranatha is the best peanut butter I’ve ever eaten. The only drawback is that you have to refrigerate it, and after refrigeration, it firms up and becomes difficult to spread. If you let it thaw a little bit before you use it, it’s much more spreadable. (They could use additives so it can remain smooth and so you don’t have to refrigerate it, but I’m cutting down on additives and this PB is so tasty it’s worth it.)
The taste is phenomenal. My husband, who has disliked every organic peanut butter we've purchased, actually said this is the best PB he's ever tasted. I only buy it for my kids. I attempted to buy it on Amazon, but the description stated a pack of 6 for around $20 something. I ordered it and received 1 jar for the over $20. So, warning, don't believe the case packaging line (if it's still there in the advertising) Why would anyone pay $20+ for a jar of PB? It is available at local organic superstore for about seven dollars/jar. Yes, costly, but so worth it!
Delicious AND it comes in a glass jar, so we don’t have to waste plastic. Not all plastic we put in the recycle bin actually gets recycled. Plastic has a limit on how many times it can be recycled, too. It is easy to spread and has great consistency.
This is the only peanut butter I could eat and feel safe it’s like you’re eating butter it taste really good good quality all natural I highly recommend it I just wish the price was a little bit lower
This product has a good taste, it is also fortunate that unlike other brands this seems to be the easiest to spread on toast after taking out of the fridge (though it still is not as easy as it should be and does require patience)
I will definitely buy this product again and will also be trying crunchy version. I did need to stir a little bit, but much less than typical organic PB. Do not have to keep upside down in fridge to not have all oil sitting on top. Easily spreadable. Much easier for kids to use.
