This is a simple game for the whole family. It's easy to set up and start playing. Nice diversion from the media we all seems to focus on. It's perfect for after dinner or anytime. Doesn't have lots of pieces or rules. Small space is all you need to play. Better than checkers and easier than chess. Kinda like backgammon but simpler. We enjoy playing with the whole family. Worth the price. Last forever.

It’s too easy to play with older kids or adults.
I picked this up as a physics activity to talk about moment/torque arms with high schoolers. The concept is there, but it’s just too easy for this age group. The balls are too light to really get the platform moving so you could get your balls into the winning condition (4 balls in the brown zone at the end) with no opposing balls to counter balance you at all (see picture). So it barely matters what you or your opponent does if you have the motor control to not just drop the balls. I happened to have some steel balls around the same size and it made it *much* harder and more strategic where it was a fun challenge even for me as an adult. For context, the plastic balls that came with it are ~15.5mm diameter and weigh 3g. The steel balls I used to make it a challenge for me are 15mm and 14g. Glass marbles of a similar size would probably weigh 5g and would probably be a good medium-light option that would also be affordable. (My steel marbles would probably double the cost of the game and would make it frustrating for kids!)

Beautifully made. Interesting concept. But the play is rather disappointing. The marbles provided are too light in weight. Even with trying to force the play so as to tip the board, it was impossible. You can place all 4 of your marbles in the end zone even with none of your opponent’s marbles in a position to counter balance them. I will be on a hunt for marbles with a more appropriate weight.
