The device is pretty foolproof and easy to use. Although, it may take some time to figure out the best spots to place the pads on your body. Moving the pads by only as a few inches can have a big impact on the strength of the contraction. You can get about 20 uses out of the pads; they are very sticky. I haven’t had to buy any replacement pads yet.
It has worked well for me. After an hour flush on my legs, I’m noticeably less sore the next day. And my next strength training session can come about 2 days earlier. That is the core of its value. I have found it particularly helpful on my back and arms too. But rarely do I engage in high volume back or arm work. So it isn’t as necessary to use the Marc Pro for recovery. With the back and arms, it is also harder to multitask when the device is on. You are moving too much to be able to read, write, or use a computer. Whereas you can multitask when you are flushing your legs.
If you are trying to cram more training into a week, be it strength or endurance, the Marc Pro should definitely be a part of your solution.
