This book had potential as the previous books in the series but fell short. This book read like a rush job. There was no conversation with his brothers explaining his status or feelings; rushed mating; rushed decision to leave career and move. I expected more for the price charged. This was a rushed short story and not her normal quality. If I read this book first, I would not have purchased anymore of the series.

Starting with my big issue....stalking is not funny. It is not to be joked about. I have heard horror stories about this happening.
Not quite the warm fuzzies as the first three books, but more than most.
Some unnecessary angst that pops up and is resolved too easily. If it is an issue make it such not just toss in to add a chapter.
Would have liked more family time—all family—without angst could have been.
Still this series is paws above most shifter stories. Please do read them in order. You will understand so much better and you will have more enjoyable reading.

Marcellus is the last Whitfell brother to be mated and he knows Wes, the last Baines brother left, is his mate or at least he hopes. I am so happy that Marcellus will get his happy ending.
Wes has never settled in one place too long hoping his secret will not come out. But Fate doesn't work they way he wants and meets his fated mate at the height of his career. Marcellus is patient with Wes and won't give up.
It was surprising to hear about what that secret is that seemed to come out of know where and for the brothers not to know but the mom knew was a little strange. But all in all this story was awesome. I definitely recommend this book!

I have loved all of the previous books in this series, they were so funny and detailed. I reread them all to make sure i was ready for this book.
I found this book so hard to follow along, i felt that i had skipped pages and missed some of the story line, i even went back a few times to make sure I had not done that. It felt like a completely different author, it felt rushed. The set up of the book was fantastic. What was Wes hiding, could he come to terms with it, would he ever except Chelle as his mate. These questions were answer in like a page with so little fan fare. Very to little interaction with his brothers and no real look in to why he was hiding other than it was not normal.
It was nice to get an ending to the books even if it was a disappointing one.

This was very much a rush job. Even though Wes has been isolated from his brothers, there is no interaction with them even by phone after he meets Marcellus. Even once he arrives there is a brief interaction with them and there is no excitement generated leading up to it.
We dont see much courtship other than the first date. There is no background as to why he is a shifter and none of the other brothers are.
I liked the other books but this one felt like the author just wanted to wrap up this series due to obligation and move on.

I'm sad the series is over, but the author has indicated there will be a spinoff.
Marcellus is the last Whitefell brother to find his mate.
He hopes it will be his brother's mates remaining brother.
He plans to waylay him and see if the matingmagic has touched them as well.
Wes has been on the run, hiding a secret from his brothers, terrified of their rejection if the truth were discovered.
When they meet, sparks fly and immediately they know they're mates.
While Marcellus hoped to go back home and join the pack, Wes is a prominent artiste who's just had his big break; contingent on his staying in Paris.
Marcellus puts his hopes and dreams on hold in order for Wes to have his.
When he realizes this, he finally understands that Marcellus would always put him first and makes the decision to go home with him.
His brothers initially aren't too happy to discover his cover up, but they quickly forgive him.
There's also a beautiful baby surprise.
I can't wait to see more from this expanding world.

Marcel is the last of his brothers to find his mate, but he thinks he knows where to look; afterall there is only one Baines brother last, he has to be his mate. Wes is currently in France and he is an artist. Unbeknownst to his brothers he has been suppressing a side of himself for years; afraid to be labeled as a freak or turned away. This time it's not just Marcel that's hearing mate, Wes is hearing it too. Can these two shifters make it work?
This is the fourth book in the Whitfell brothers series. Like, the third novel we get a different take on how each brother is introduced to their mate. I think it was a nice twist to have Wes be a shifter, seeing as none of the other brothers are. It was a new take on the fated mate romance. This made it less predictable and a more interesting read.

Just sort of a pointless ending to a mediocre series. The most exciting thing was finding out what Wes's secret is and that happens at the start of chapter 2 with the little picture in the heading. The author had to try really hard to stretch this plot out for 115 pages and it shows. Both characters are mostly likeable and it did deliver on low angst. I won't be reading anything else from this author even if there is a spin-off series to the Whitfell Brothers.
