The story isn't exactly my cup of (Irish breakfast) tea. Yet despite being outside my usual tastes, I found it, if not quite a page-turner, than a breezy and worthy ride. There is an authenticity here, and an affection, that makes me believe these characters are actual people, and people the author knows and intimately understands. That alone is worth the march.

March to November transported me into the lives of these five people with all their complexities and sensibilities. The book deals with the timeless human values of companionship and compassion. It also explores the philosophy of wrongdoing through ignorance and its cure through knowledge. March To November is both tragic and funny at the same time.
I read at night and found myself going to bed earlier and earlier. I could identify with all of the characters and was absorbed from page one.
The story takes the reader into the lives of a group of Belfast friends and really captures the atmosphere of Ireland and the twists and turns in the months March to November
This book is both funny and emotive and I spent a very pleasant long week end reading it
Looking forward to the next novel
