I have bought several cans of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and this one just does not hit the same. It IS cheaper than buying even from our local grocery store but the spice to it just isn’t there. Anytime I’ve used this product I’ve had to add cayenne or Arbol chiles.

These peppers are great for seasoning chicken. I use them to make chicken similar to chiptole's.
The amount is small but it's one of the cheapest cans of chipotle peppers.

Chipotles in adobo sauce are a simple method to add rich, smokey, spicy flavor to a dish. Making my own is a time-consuming process, so it's sometimes easier to use a store-bought product, even if it has certain additives, I am not a fan of. This can is 7.5 ounces in size, and because this item is spicy, a large amount is seldom required.

I wanted to prepare some creamy chipotle chicken, which is one of my favorite dishes, so I bought this can. It has an easy pull-off top, but don't touch the ring because it's sharp and could cut you. Inside, the product smells and tastes fantastic, and it has a nice texture. I only required half for the recipe, so I kept the other half in the fridge in a tiny jar with a lid to use in a few days.
