Ari is hiding something and Cora doesn't like it. With all the changes at Noble Dreams, Cora struggles to settle in and move in new directions. It'd be better if her partner were walking right beside her. But she has her doubts, and if Ari isn't on board, then everything is at risk when it comes to their farm and their relationship.

Mary Kit Caelsto never grew out of the phase of being a "horse crazy girl". Though she's now over 40, she's finally fulfilling her dream of writing equestrian books for others who haven't grown out of being "horse crazy". She lives in the Ozarks with her four very spoiled and very opinionated horses, as well as a large flock of poultry and enough cats to qualify her as a crazy cat lady. Her husband, though not an equestrian himself, understands and supports all her equestrian dreams.

She's convinced three of the best things in the world are the smell of a sun warmed horse, the smell of leather tack, and making sure to hug her horses every single day.

Ari and Cora had a rough go for quite a while. Ari had quite a bug about competing. Then she was less than completely devoted with a friend or two and some making out, not completely cool if you don’t have an open relationship

Sadly for Ari, a close friend took advantage and hurt her physically as well as emotionally. Part of the problem with female sexual assault: no penetration, no assault in terms of law, which doe not help anyone cope

Can Ari and Cora survive Ari getting secretive again? Even if she is doing good things for herself and her career, the secrecy does not help a wounded relationship

Babies and new barns, and new beginnings and endings

A life, friendship and live filled series

Another pleasant Noble Dreams story

Things are changing at Noble Dreams stables and Cora isn't sure if she is happy. She is worried about her partner Ari. She seems to have a secret and Cora is worried that she might be losing Ari. This book refers back to things that have happened in previous books in the series but it can be read as a standalone.

Another great one from Mary! Her writing captivates the reader and keeps them glued to the pages. Her characters are fun, engaging, easy to get to know and well developed. A truly enjoyable read that's perfect for those winter weekends where you just want to stay home, curled up with a blanket and watching the snow fall.
