About Marianne Malthouse
Marianne Malthouse wrote her first historical novel in 1984, a Regency Romance entitled Farnham's Folly. This was published in the UK, and was followed by Kerrigan's Curse in 1985. These were Regency romances, with a dash of mystery and humour. Marianne was born in London and has lived in both Zambia and Australia, and now resides in Adelaide, South Australia, where she lives with her two elderly cats. She lost her husband to cancer in 2016 but has great support from family and friends. When her busy work life as a Legal Secretary came to an end she thought she was retiring, but the writing bug took hold again, and she has now published her third novel, some thirty years after the last one. Tanya is set in Russia in the time of Peter the Great, and is a sweeping tale of a beautiful woman trying to survive and find happiness in a time of upheaval and war. Her fourth novel is Milady Disdain, another Regency romance, humorous and fun to read.
