People wandering around trying to find treasure with their minds...uh huh...I saw an episode of this today. Guys wandering around in the desert with forked sticks held out in front of them, insisting that various locations held gold...which of course they did not...and apparently this type of foolishness goes on for innumerable episodes. Television program about nothing.

Send a message to Nat Geo and don't buy it. You could film this in your backyard with some drunk friends and have more fun doing that than you would have watching this kind of thing. These people aren't even drunk and you don't even know them.

It's unbelievable what they're peddling to viewers these days. And people are watching it, to the tune of three season's worth of shows???

Very solid program. However, I would have expected higher qualify filming from National Geographic. Definitely worth watching, but doesn't merit 5 stars.

So skillfully crafted -- a fascinating look at day to day emerald mining and trade by emerald dealer Ron Ringsrud. This description entwined with the Bahia Emerald story heightens interest. Wonderful shots of high end emerald jewelry and the simple graphic of emerald creation seemed just the right amount of information.
