All of the reviews on this product were SO mixed it seriously made me hesitate getting it because of how many things can apparently go wrong. So I flipped a coin lol and decided to purchase this item that I had high hopes for and I don’t regret it. Shipping was fast and came within 4-5 days. My lil jar came in a small bubble wrapped zip lock bag and was also surrounded by bubble wrap in the box it was shipped in, so it did not come broken like I feared. It did come shaken of course but just leaving it for a good hour or two did the trick :). When I finally tried the product it was amazing! I feared the results of some people where their acne or breakouts got worse but thankfully this did not happen to me. This product definitely reduced redness and helped push up the impurity to take it out effortlessly. Many were frustrated that this product came off in the night on their pillow but I will admit this product takes self control haha especially for a wiggly worm like myself. Depending on where I have the product I will only let myself sleep on one side or if I have it on varying spots I just stay on my back. When I did forget and moved everywhere causing it to come off the results weren’t as good as when I stayed still and allowed the product to do its thing. Overall I’m in love with this product and definitely will repurchase!! I’m glad I took the risk and if your someone wanting to get this product but aren’t sure,I recommend physically buying it to spend less if you get different results. With shipping this product is about 24 dollars sooo I’m also considering finding it at a local store haha.

Read It All for Great Skin!!!

I have really nice skin. It's one of the things I admire and pride myself about my body. One day during finals week (I'm guessing excessive stress made this happen) but I got a pimple. It hurt so bad and was huge. When I do (rarely) get a pimple, you can barely see them because I treat them before and during its early emergence on my face. Somehow, I came across (Please don't publicly shame me when I say this) an Instagram post on Yahoo of a Kylie Jenner snapchat of how she treats her face for acne. Due to that snapchat and my desperation, I forked over $16 on this drying lotion. Why did I do that? This stuff just chemically burns the crap out of my face, left the area peeling, and left behind a dark case of hyper-pigmentation. My skin isn't even that sensitive. Never again will I buy something like this to put on my face. I'll stick to the basics that have always worked for me.

Here's what works for me if you're curious: I get almost all of this stuff on amazon
-A gentle cleanser (cetaphil or neutrogena)
-Oil cleansing every now and then (olive oil and castor oil with a few drops of Trader Joe's tea tree oil are my faves)
-ACV mixed with water as a toner or Burt's Bees tomato toner
-Tea tree oil and clean and clear's persa-gel ( to treat bumps and pimples )
**I've learned that if you really want to have nice skin, you have to protect it and keep it moisturized. Also keep your routine SIMPLE**
-Olay Total effects 7 in one SPF 30 or Olay Complete for Combination/Oily skin SPF 15 in the am (depends on the season)
-Olay Regenerist Night Cream in the pm or SR Luna Oil with SR Good Genes serum

(The only non-drug store things I use on my face are Sunday Riley's Luna Oil and Good Genes serum. They're pretty darn good!!! The Luna Oil also has certain antiseptic properties that help prevent acne! Crazy right?! It also makes my skin so soft! The serum is good for hyper-pigmentation and brightening skin. Both of them do many other things too! Sephora has a duo kit for $78. It was a birthday gift to myself! I work on campus! Don't judge! As a college student, I often times don't get as much sleep that I'm suppose to and I was afraid that it would start showing in my face even though the saying is "Black don't crack". I got this duo to help prevent premature aging. #wrinkles #bags #Crowsfeet #SayNoToFillers #SayNoToBotox #AgeGraciously)

***Side Note: I use to have really bad oily skin. In early high school, I would dry it out with acne astringents and skip out on moisturizer at night because I didn't want my face to be really oily. Eventually, I realized that my face was overproducing oils because of this behavior. The moment I started using gentle cleansers, oils, and moisturizers, the moment my skin realized it didn't need to drown itself in sebum. As I go through my day, I still do produce oil on my skin but it's not excessive. It's just a healthy amount to protect my face from the harsh environment and create a healthy glow. During the warmer months, I walk around with a pack of oil blotting sheets just in case.

Reviews for this product (and most other acne-related products) are all over the spectrum as really good or really bad. That's normal, because products and specific ingredients work differently for everyone. Your skin texture, pores, natural pH, oil production, exfoliation, etc., etc., all impact how a product will work for YOU. I have had different variations of acne since I was about 12 years old. And that's another point...your skin and all of those factors change throughout your life. Age, climate, the air quality and environment where you live also impact your skin. And what you eat and drink has a HUGE impact as well! With that said, I will get off my soap box and get to the point! This product has worked VERY well for me. I have tried a LOT of different products, both over the counter and prescription. When I feel a blemish coming on, I dab it with this bottle of magic and it dramatically reduces how long it lasts AND how bad/big it gets. This is the only product I have ever used with this effectiveness, and I love it!!! I go to bed with multiple pink dots on my face almost every night (much to the chagrin of my husband!), and frequently those spots are close to non-existent in the morning. (TIP: Do NOT shake the bottle...the clear liquid and pink sediment are meant to be separated -- read the instructions!) Give it a try. I hope you love this as much as I do. If not, at least you tried, and hopefully you will find something that works for YOU.

Since I turned 40 years old three years ago I have suffered with really bad cystic acne. So bad I couldn't leave the house. I tried EVERYTHING. I had been on Vyvanse for ADHD for several years. I looked like I belonged on The Faces of Meth. I quit the med cold turkey. 6 weeks later I had my face back. I am still off meds, but my good luck only lasted 3 months. Last week I woke up and my entire face was COVERED in red bumps. My forehead alone made me cry. I had nothing left to try. I got on to Amazon and found this product. I have used 90% isopropyl on my face & calamine lotion as well, so I wasn't sure if this would work. But I was desperate. It arrived the following day. The first few times I applied with a q-tip. I pulled half of the cotton off cuz I didn't want to waste it. I wasn't getting the coverage I wanted, and I had A LOT to cover. So I took an eyedropper and sucked up the sediment and gently squeezed the bulb of the eyedropper over my entire face. I rubbed it into my face each time with clean fingers. I went to bed. When I woke up I couldn't believe it. The bumps had all gone down and the redness was GONE. I still have tiny little scabs, but they aren't swollen, they no longer hurt and you can't really see them with the redness gone. I am SO grateful I stumbled on this. I read tons of reviews and as always there were lots of negative reviews. There always is. Not every product works for everyone. Lucky for me it did an incredible job!!! It's well worth the $20 to try it. I highly recommend giving it a chance.

This product is really good. At first I was quite sceptical but I’ve been using it for a week now and it has quite helped with my problem. I rarely get spots but for some time now, I’ve been getting really red and sore spots just near my hair line on my temple, the spots are under the skin with no heads. After the first day of using it, it had completely gotten rid of the redness and soreness and the spots were visibly smaller, it had totally helped. The only thing I would say however, is that it smells really strong and if can be quite powerful at times but if you can ignore it, it’s fine.

This is brilliant for drying out emerging spots. Put on before bed and usually they’re gone by morning or very much reduced. It even helps for some cystic acne. ( spots that hurt and haven’t come out yet.) seems to soothe them and reduce what comes out. Looks a bit like calamine when on. Strong smell which fades.

Not a miracle cure - but worth a shot

Seeing all the amazing reviews I was so eager to try this drying lotion. I’d usually just use sudocrem but wanted to try something with more purpose on my spots, which have been quite bad recently. I’m a male in my 30s and started getting lots of angry red spots, on my forehead area/jawline.

This isn’t a miracle cure. And it may not work on all spots as I found. Some it did wonders - a nasty under the skin spot appeared red and about to rear near my nose. I plopped this on and after a few days it calmed down. But it has barely done anything for the spots on my forehead 5 nights in, and has even made some of them become white heads (maybe a good thing?)

If you’re expecting a miracle after one night, I don’t think you’ll find it here. It may also not work on all spots.

I also noticed no one has mentioned what a pain the stuff is to get off in the morning! I’m rubbing my face for ages in the shower and there is still residue!!!

So in all, worth a try but don’t get your hopes up.
