Careful on the region you buy

First off, my grandson love this game! I didn't pay enough attention & purchased the incorrect region but it doesn't seem to hamper on playing the game. Only down side I would say is that when playing 3 or more players, the game will not allow you to use the WII U game pad. Graphics are fantastic & game play is fun. Just BE CAREFUL on what region you're getting.

Mario Party 10: Disappointment of the Series

I have mixed feelings about this mario party. I have always loved mario party games since the very first one, but I stopped buying nintendo consoles with the original wii. When mario Kart 8 was realeased, I bought a Wii U. I was excited to get the new mario party.

Things are almost great in this installment. So so so so... close. But it all feels off. The most fun I had was boswer party, but theres just not enough content. With this being the 10th mario party, I'd love to see them bring back countless favorite games, but instead we get a small portion.

PROS:
Bowser party is fun the first couple of times. It's fun to play as bowser, but theres not enough games in this mode, you will get sick of it even the second time you play it.

NEUTRAL:
The car. I don't really care about the car. It's meh...

CONS:
There are not enough mini games. There are not enough mini games
There are not enough mini games
Amiibos are required for one mode. You are locked out of it if you don't have an amiibo. This mode removes the car. If you hate the car, you need an amiibo.
There is a really strange mode where you take pictures of the characters in the game. I cannot imagine why someone thought this was a good idea.
THE OVERALL LACK OF IMAGINATION IS INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING.
Nintendoland is a far superior mario party and it was free, not 60 dollars.

Overall, Mario Party 10 is a lackluster installment into the mario party series. Dare I say, the worst mario party. There is a huge mass of past favorite mini-games and great hardware, but someone dropped the ball in the imagination department. It had potential to be awesome. If you want a party game on the Wii U, get nintendoland, it is far better (and it was only intended to be a demonstration of what the Wii U could do). I sometimes pick up nintendoland when friends are over, but we never pick up Mario Party 10.

After Mario Party 9 changed the formula that had grown stale from lazy annual re-releases, Mario Party 10 could have built upon that formula. Instead, it improves absolutely nothing, and even takes a step backward with fewer boards and minigames. Its one new mode in Bowser play is heavily stacked toward the four players. Additionally, be warned - this game REQUIRES Wii Remotes to play. The front of the box does not say this, nor does the Amazon description. If you got rid of your old accessories years ago like I did, you are screwed.

Mario Party Hasn't Been This Fun In A While

If you're looking for that good, old-fashioned fun that video games used to afford back in the day when Nintendo was still top dog in the gaming industry, then this game is for you- and possibly your family, if you have one to play with. I will concede that this game was designed specifically for the shared experience; however, if you have no one to play with, yet still enjoy those solo moments of playing party games against CPU's, this baby will still bring you several hours of competitive, good-natured fun. And, as Nintendo is often wont to do, they stepped up their game slightly and added a few more interesting twists that will keep you from getting bored too quickly. If nothing else, play it for old times' sake.

I ordered this present for my family as a christmas gift far ahead of time so it would be there on time when i flew in because im a college kid. I received the package on time at my families house before i got there, which is about the only thing right with this order. But when i checked and opened the package to see the disc, the disc was clearly damaged and unable to be used. Within the description of these items they clearly point out that their discs are "professionally cleaned" and that they are "functional." Now I'm broke out of money cause I'm a college kid, and don't have enough time before christmas to send it back, receive my refund, and order another CD. (((((: HAPPY HOLIDAYS

This game is a total hoot! We love it. It’s addicting and simple. It’s also hilarious how angry you can get with your fellow gamer. It’s like playing Monopoly back in the day; families were torn apart for less. All jokes aside Mario Party 10 is fantastic. This game is also the great equalizer. Just when you think player 1 is taking the whole show with 80+ Stars… don’t worry… Bowser or something will level the playing field. Everyone has a chance to win.

This game BEGS for some DLC. We are ready. We need more levels immediately and I want to see more characters, like right now. 10/10 one of the best games I own for Wii U.

We are big Mario fans and we pretty much purchase every new Nintendo Wii U game that is released. We were soooo excited about this game. We hadn't played Mario Party since the Nintendo 64 version, which we absolutely loved. Unfortunately, Mario Party 10 does not live up to the Nintendo 64 Mario Party at all. The way the game is played, with all the players in one car, is really boring. We really wanted to love this game and played it quite a bit, but we couldn't get into it. The mini games are ok, but not super fun. The gameplay is pretty slow and gets annoying pretty fast. We really wish we could love this game, but unfortunately it just wasn't for us.
(Our recommendation: Buy Super Smash Bros instead - that game is amazing!)

Seriously Amazon, why do you continue to allow activity like this. Purchased this Mario Party 10 copy because it was listed as Amazon best seller. Whatever you say, this adds weight to the product being sold. I haven't even opened the game given that I have done much research to see that it is unlikely that there was a separate version for sole resale in UAE/Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Leads me to wonder whether this is even a legitimate (read: produced by Nintendo) copy being sold. Furthermore, the advertisement clearly stated it was the standard version. The stamp on the bottom clearly shows that it's not. Shame on the seller, and shame on Amazon for continuing to allow this type of deceptive activity. Are you guys (Amazon) not keeping track of Amazon Prime returns even. So misleading; returning immediately.

It's a good game, but its price is too high. I'd advise buying this for 45 bucks (canadian) so that you don't feel completely jipped of your money.
There are three main problems I have with the game. The Bowser Party mode (one of the main marketing points of the game) only contains 10 mini-games, so it is going to be way too soon before you start encountering the same one over and over again. It's a really cool and fun idea, but it sucks to see that they didn't go all out with it.
Secondly, I haven't played Mario Party since MP7 (so I don't know whenever this one mechanic was introduced) and I really don't like the "everyone moves in the same car, together" mechanic. It takes away a lot of skill and strategy that the previous games have had. The MP games used to have luck play a small-but-frequent factor, but now the game is almost completely based on luck
Finally, the mini-games are super fun, but they're inconsistent. There were multiple game play sessions I've had when it took nearly 7 straight minutes without a mini-game, which is frustrating in a set 30 minute game (which isn't adjustable, btw).
Now let's talk about the good.
The mini-games, like I said earlier, are fantastic! There is a really good variety in them, from skill based, to memory, to just plain luck! There is something here to play for everyone. The spirit when playing Mario Party with friends is also something to be noted, DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 3 WIIMOTES (and 3 people to use them) or you will have a somewhat boring time, as to be expected from a game with the word "party" in it.
The game looks and plays beautifully, 60fps and the aesthetic is colorful, vibrant, and cheerful (even in the scareh places).
As a big Mario Party fan, I can't recommend this at full price, because there isn't enough mini-games, and there's a noticeable mechanic change from previous MP games. I'm still going to play it, because the games are fun, and dammit, I like fun!

Everything about the products shipment and timing was perfect, 5/5 for the seller.
The game however, was disappointing. I remember Mario party 8 and the fond memories of the game board. This was completely different. Travelling the game board with your opponent as opposed to against them wasn’t as much fun. The whole experience was lacklustre. Mini games were OK, they tried to utilize the Wii U controller wherever possible. If I could, I’d trade it for the party 8 version.

Compared to Super Mario 3D world and other Nintendo games this one is total garbage. It only has a handful of minigames and the rest of the time you're moving on a board where you control next to nothing. Don't bother with this game

Hoy llegó y lo empezamos a jugar mis hermanas y yo, le doy 4 estrellas porque no especifica que en modo normal de juego, todos los jugadores deben tener un control wii remote plus, pensabamos que con el que incluye el Wii U podria jugar una de nosotras, pero no, solo se puede usar ese control si juegas con bowser. Como quiera el juego es entretenido, solo ese detalle que no especifica lo de los controles.
