I got this for my 6 year old who loves to watch these videos on Youtube. He is a big gamer, but this is a turn based strategy game that was quite different from his typical "Luigis mansion" or "mario odessy". He watched me play the original and it was a BIT difficult for him to get the hang of, but this game has an option where you can make the players invulnerable which was really helpful so he could just learn to play without dying. I am a 30 YO gamer mom who started my own game on my own file and I find it just challenging enough. There are lots of settings so that you can increase or decrease the difficulty based on the player. There are some differences from kingdom battle, some good, some bad, but I really am liking the game so far!

There’s the traditional Mario characters as well as the Rabbids which are funny. We’ve put quite a few hours into it already and have only completed a small amount of the game so it’s not something that will be over with right away. Hours of fun for the whole family.
