Editorial Reviews

An enticing set of stories with elements of magical realism commonly associated with Latin American literature. Mariposas negras by Melanie Márquez Adams is a Spanish short story collection that delves in the mystical, macabre and eerie corners of the soul while juxtaposing them with brush strokes of atypical beauty and magical instances.
Márquez Adams' use of plot twists as well as her natural ability to bend reality produces the desired uncertainty and anticipation required for this genre. -LATINO BOOK REVIEW

Revista Suburbano Ediciones (Miami).

From the Back Cover

............................... --This text refers to the paperback edition.
