Mark Taylor is a student at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. As a freshman in high school, Mark was one of 72 high school students nationwide selected to participate in Young America's Foundation High School Leadership Conference in March of 2010, where he had the rare opportunity to visit the Reagan Ranch located in the scenic Santa Ynez Mountains, northwest of Santa Barbara, California. Mark is also a graduate of the Leadership Institute's Youth Leadership School and completed Patrick Henry College's Constitutional Law Camp under the direction of Dr. Michael Farris. Attending political conferences for youth in Washington, D.C. during the summer and meeting people from across the United States are some of Mark's favorite activities.
Mark got the idea to write this book from a video contest he entered about the American dream. The varied responses between age groups to the question: "What does the American dream mean to you?" and one person's joking response that the American dream is a farce inspired Mark to write this book.
When he isn't busy following the news, writing about politics, or working as an activist, Mark enjoys swimming competitvely, playing catch with his yellow Labrador retriever named Tex, and spending time with friends and family.
Mark brings energy and enthusiamsm to the conservative movement with his informational talks. If you'd like for Mark to speak to your group email email@example.com.
