Marlowe does have it over Oxford in that we know he wrote plays, was an excellent poet and a great playwright. He died by all accounts much too early. You might as well say that Tom Kyd wrote the plays and faked his death and assumed the pen name "Willilam Shakespeare" What is one more pseudonym?
Anthony Burgess was smarter. He admitted that Marlowe's early death left Shakespeare with no competition. But if Marlowe lived, he does not think he would have or could have written the works ascribed to William Shakespeare. Burgess thinks he would have taken the road of Shakespeare's rival, Ben Jonson, that is more satirical work, which Shakespeare never wrote.
To say Marlowe wrote Shakespeare is like saying that Robert Frost wrote T.S. Eliot. Both great poets but the differences in style make for a total separation.
This is total fabrication. Read it as if it were a novel, not a work of scholarship.
It may be worth noting that Dr. Blomenthal has an Honorary Doctorate in Law from Bob Jones University. I'm not sure I would put that on my biography. Bob Jones is an extremely conservative Rebublican Universitry which was accused to racial inequality and lost. BJU also teachers Young Earth Creationism, that is the Earth is about 5,000 years old not billions. It flies in the fact of all scientific knowledge.
Mr. Blumenfeld is a signer of the Declaration of Reasonable Doubt. On the list of Academics. I think it shows Reasonable Doubt in a pretty poor light, and lets people know what kind of thinks it lets sign the Declara. A person who doubts Shakespeare wrote the plays but believes a man who died in 1593 wrote them. With no evidence. These are the kinds of minds who signed the Declaration. Caveat Emptor!!!!!
P.S. The BJ in my name is NOT Bob Jones.......
