About the Author

Darlene D. Collier is the co-author of Married to Sin, a memoir about her life; she is a native of Heidelberg, Mississippi, and a long time resident of Brandon, Mississippi. She was married to the late Henry Lee Collier for nearly four decades; she is the mother of six, a retired healthcare professional, and the spokesperson and founder of Citizens Against the Rebel Flag Hanging in Public Places therebelflagmustgo.com. This organization copyrighted the first rebel flag protest t-shirt in U.S. history, and produced a historical U.S. 1860-1861 Map, which is a placemat and a learning resource for people of all ages. Collier is the general partner and co-founder of Mose Dantzler Press mosedpress.com which published her memoir. Meredith C. McGee is the co-author of Married to Sin; she was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the wife of William E. McGee, Jr., a mother, and a professional writer for Typing Solutions Résumés & Etc meredithetc.biz. She founded Heirs United Investment Club and Meredith Etc, and co-founded Heirsskymall.com Inc shopheirs.com, and Mose Dantzler Press mosedpress.com. McGee is a niece of Civil Rights Icon James H. Meredith, and the author of a biography "James Meredith: Warrior and the America that created him." Her next book, "Odyssey" a collection of her poems and other writings is forthcoming.
