I have to say since I am experiencing the whole dating thing myself after 18 years I can understand this. I have tried to download some dating apps and seem to just get the crazy people. Can no one just be themselves anymore?
Jordan Parker decides after seeing her friend become engaged and meeting a guy that is way beyond creepy that she will make a list of the right guy that she wants and she will be married by the next year. I will admit that she did this while she was drunk.
Luke is a guy that doesn't meet all the requirements that Jordan has set for herself. He doesn't have a vehicle. He does seem to be around all the time. I will admit that I didn't know if I would like him at first.
Some of the guys that Jordan meets are just so crazy. I couldn't help but laugh. I knew if I was going through what she went through I would just want to die of. I can understand her just wanting to give up after a while.
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from this author. It had everything that I was looking for. I might not have liked all the characters but I did fall in love with some.
Jordan Parker makes a New Years resolution to get married in the New Year, and this is her funny journey to get there. Some of her dates are funny as heck, and I cracked up reading about them. The spooky garage one had me scared, but the one at the track had me laughing out loud. It broke my heart more as the months passed, and the person she should have been with, kept getting overlooked. I recommend this book to anyone that wants a good laugh, a good cry, and lots of awww moments.
Married This Year #2 - A good friend to have cook meals if dieting. Well written and funny; holds you captive until you've finished the book; too soon the ending arrives. The characters are believable and the dialog real. Again, another successful read by the author. Just don't read it in a public place; people stare when you're laughing out loud so much. No sex and very infrequent mild cursing.
Married This Year #3 - Hilarious! Heartwarming! Another well written, interesting romance with plenty of background happenings. The first chapter already had me lol and the laughs got louder and stronger. The smart parrot knew what to say and to whom, even if his human didn't. I enjoyed the company and co-workers, they were good support characters. I contacted the author to review her books. I love her work! All are 5 stars.
All At Sea - Another fun, interesting romance with believable characters and realistic dialog. The plot is well thought out and holds the reader immersed in the story until the last page. I enjoy this author's work.
Seven Days to Me #1 - Another well written, entertaining, fun book with lovable people, mixed in with some nasty characters. A wonderful love story ending in the strength of the characters charting their future lives. I hate spoilers, so it's difficult for me to explain how great a book is without telling the contents. I have several of the author's books and contacted her wanting to review this book. This is a standalone, but the next book is Seven Days to Us.
Seven Days to Us #2 - Better than 2D2Me! Full of excitement, intrigue and romance! This well written, fast paced sequel had me glued to my sofa devouring the pages as fast as I could read them. Do start with Seven Days to Me, before reading this book; some of the nasty characters return.
One part I had a problem with, and chose to ignore, was the 0100 visit in this situation and the reaction. Sorry, no spoilers from me.
