About Marsha J. Chan
Marsha J. Chan is a language educator, speaker, and writer. She has presented over 250 seminars and workshops at regional, national, and international conferences and institutions in the USA and abroad. Recipient of numerous awards for excellence in teaching, presentation, and publication, Marsha is Professor Emerita of English as a Second Language at Mission College, California. She has authored several English language textbooks and articles, and she has created thousands of learning objects in print, audio, and video formats. A native Californian, Marsha’s roots go back five generations to China, where her great-great-grandfather originated. She speaks several European and Asian languages, and loves hearing and playing with others. She is co-founder of CATESOL's Teaching of Pronunciation Interest Group and former officer of TESOL's Speech Pronunciation and Listening Interest Section.
