About the Author
M. Harold Page’s fascination with the legendary Sir William the Marshal—described by thirteenth-century contemporaries as “the greatest knight that ever lived”—dates back to his childhood in Edinburgh, Scotland. He holds a master’s degree in Classics and Medieval History and is a veteran student of Historical European Martial Arts. His tales of medieval heroism are fueled by his love of history and heavy doses of Viking metal, which he listens to while writing. Though widely traveled, he is a family man who still calls Edinburgh home. He currently teaches German longsword for the city’s Dawn Duellists Society. An avid music lover, Page once fronted a blues band and can still play a mean Chuck Berry on the piano.
