I like the fit of these headphones a lot. They have good sound (for the price) but they let in ambient noise, which is good when walking around a city.

However, I've had 2 pairs, and the build quality is not good at all. My first pair looked fine, but the sound was spotty, as if something came loose inside. After a LOT of hassle, I got them exchanged. The second pair was fine for a while, except for the gold volume button coming off, and now it's having the exact same problem. Too late for me to return it, of course. Don't waste your money on these.

I got these headphones about a year ago. They are beautifully designed and work pretty well. If you are a sound connoisseur don't bother, but if you are looking for a solid set of earphones that stay secure during tough activities, these are them! I am giving this product only one star because of the jack design. IT"S JUST TOO BIG!. Because Marshall is pursuing a design that speaks to their amp equipment, they went with a large plug. This plug doesn't bode well for the longevity of your headphone chord because of the tension that naturally occurs in your pocket.

I contacted Marshall to repair these under warranty but they said I misused their product. Here is a very apologetic email from them

"Hi Ben,

Thanks for your response. If the plug breakdown is a result of keeping your device in your pocket with the headphones plugged in, I am really sorry but this type of damage is classified as accidental damage and is not covered by a warranty. The repetitive bending force applied to the plug can cause the interior connections to break down and is not a result of a manufacturing defect. I am really sorry but we can't help you with these headphones. You may be able to find a local electronic shop that offer repair services and they may be able to offer you a solution. I am sorry that I can't be more helpful in this situation. Thanks, please write again with any further questions or comments.

Best regards,"

Like I said, not intended for use in your pocket

After owning the Marshall Minor headphones for three months, I can finally say I like them a lot. This was not always the case, though.

I wanted a pair of non-isolating earphones so I could listen to music, but would still be aware if someone started talking to me. These are extremely rare, especially since I already tried the PK3 Earbuds, but was disappointed by their durability. The other option for a decent headphone of this type is the Bose IE2 Audio Headphones, which are significantly more expensive.

The comfort of these headphones is heavily dependent on the size if your ears vs. the size of the included pads. When I first tried these, Medium was too small, and let the headphones move around, which irritated my ears. Large was just slightly too big, keeping the headphones in place but rubbing against my ears. This became extremely painful, and cut up the inside of my ears so much that I had to stop wearing these for a week to let my ears heal. At this point, I would have sent them back if it weren't for a few very nice features:
-The fabric cord feels nice, and adds to the durability
-The headphone jack, which is where many of my previous headphones had broken, is covered in metal, which should help with longevity
-The one-button remote/microphone was a huge improvement over not having a remote, allowing me to pause and skip forward and backward on my iPod as well as to answer and take phone calls on my Android phone. If you've never had one, it makes a huge difference.
-The sound was actually good. More on this later.

Bought these for the obvious reason - They are cool as hell. But after spending a day with them I have to say they sound as good as any pair of earbuds I have ever owned. I like the fit and not having to shove them in my ear canal. My old Bose buds were comfortable with unimpressive sound, my in-ear Shure's are top notch but not at all comfortable for walking around. These split the difference, sound almost as good as the Shure's for half the price, more than twice as cool. Definitely worth a listen if you are even remotely interested.

UPDATE

I have since bought two more pairs for friends and family, only to have my original pair short out in one ear. The other two pairs continue to work well. I have had similar issues with Shure and Bose headphones in the past, earbuds just don't last like they should. Amazon agreed to refund the price, but BE WARNED that to collect on the 1 Year Warranty you would be best served by picking these up from a solid old school "brick and mortar" retailer that will handle the potential replacement issue with Marshall directly. That's what I am doing for my replacement pair.

i just got these so I cannot speak to durability. They fit well, which has been a problem for me. Normal ear pods always fall out my ear, even when I'm just sitting. The "ear click" which sounds gimmicky actually works really well. These also wound notably better than iphone oem pods, samsung pods and even more expensive beats pods and phones. Listen to Radiohead's "Everything in its right place" and you can hear the many lawyers quite clearly and distinctly. People can hear me well.

My nit is that the box is terrible. In an era where Apple, Samsung, HP and others have turned packaging into an art this is terrible. Item is held onto cardboard with twist ties and I actually pulled off the ear click attachment which fell on a dark floor trying to get them out. I found them but it's a poor unboxing experience for a premium priced product.
