Maybe they are counterfeit?
At any rate, they are going back....
The charge last long, and it works great with the cord when the charge is out.
The sound is great when listening to music or watching a movie.
Feel very comfortable, not too tight on my head.
The whole earpiece fits on my ear, which I prefer, and I don't have a issue when wearing earrings.
They fold up and are easy to transport.
Also, I love the curly cord, it reminds my of older headphones, just reminiscing.
The cordless range is AMAZING!! I can walk all over my house and have no issues. And it's 2,000 sq feet, not an apartment, so they go pretty darn far.
The bass is not great. I have a pair of Skullcandy Crusher Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphone, those have amazing bass that can be adjusted, I swear they vibrate on your head. But I don't like that they are over my ears, they feel super tight on my head. I also couldn't wear earrings with the SkullCandy. Plus, the cordless range on the SkullCandy sucked compared to the Marshall.
Over all, they are great for everyday use, comfortable, and have amazing range.

* Marshall Major 3
* Marshall Mid
* Sennheiser Momentum,

The sound quality is as good as than any others I’ve tried out - even in higher price brackets (e.g. top range Sennheiser, Bose, Parrot, B&O). They are in the same ballpark to my ears.
Note: I mainly listen to alternative, all kinds of electronic music, alternative/prog rock, post-rock, post-metal, post-hardcore etc so the levels/dynamics of various genres stand up to scrutiny on these ‘phones to my ears.
Yes, the bass may be the standout range, which is strong but still clear and not at all over the top. But the mids and treble are also very crisp and clear. No grating treble, harshness or lack of clarity that come with so many mid-range headphones, so listening for hours is a joy.
I would admit there is a bit of sound ‘leakage’ in that if you’re on the train and they’re on near full volume the person next to you will be able to hear the music a little. But unless you’re fairly close, there should be no problem, especially at normal (mid-high) volumes.
The 30 hours playback on one charge sounds too good to be true. Even if it turns out to be 20 in real life (perhaps due to volume or using the gold button a lot), this is still more than sufficient playtime for most listeners. It certainly is for me. My previous mid-price in ear phones only got about 8 hours max before needing a recharge.
Comfort is great for an hour or so.
But - as with pretty much any on-ear headphones - they may get a little uncomfortable after this from pressing on your ears, despite the soft muffs. Therefore I’d probably advise to take them off for around 5 mins per hour (which is a good rule of thumb for music listening anyways) and then you should be okay to go again. This is my only negative really. Though they are more comfortable than any other on-ear ‘phones I have owned previously over the years.
The gold button is very handy, and does everything I can think you’d want it for, all in one place i.e. syncing with your device, turning on/off, volume control and skipping tracks. The button feels robust, which is assuring. Time will tell, but with year’s warranty I feel suitably covered.
The Major IIIs look very good on, in my opinion, with the retro stylings and not large or unwieldy. Indeed they are quite compact, and for me this is a good thing. They fold up easily and nicely, making them more secure. But a case to protect your Major IIIs may be a good idea. For under 10 quid I saw this as a no-brainer.
The build-quality seems decent. They’re not at all flimsy in my opinion, but they’re not made of steel either ! They have the amount of give I expected, and sit comfortably on the top of the head as well as the ears.
Despite the seemingly sufficient build-quality, it may be worth investing (as I did), in the case to keep them clean and safe. This should mean years of happy listening. No one wants their possessions to break in their bag or by being sat on !
The ‘phones were extremely easy to pair with my iPhone...And as I don’t like wires - and the latest iPhones don’t have normal aux jacks, or any jacks at all - this was a good excuse to invest in some good quality ‘phones. Which just happen to better than any in-ear style in my view, and cost less than (crappy) AirPods do at the moment(!) whilst looking and sounding so much better, in my opinion.
Time will tell, and I will endeavour to update this review accordingly if there are any issues e.g. sound quality degradation, but this is something I have noted occurs more with in-ear ‘phones.
....I will admit I may be slightly biased (though I have been as clear and honest as I can be) given that I have always been impressed with Marshall amps compared to the competition. Only Orange amps compare well in this market in my opinion.
Feel free to post a question and I will endeavour to provide an objective answer.
