NEW Produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Nash Bridges, Bates Motel) Martial Law (Traditional Chinese: 過江龍) is an American/Canadian crime drama that aired on CBS from 1998 to 2000, and was created by Carlton Cuse. The title character, Sammo Law, portrayed by Sammo Hung, was a Chinese law officer and martial arts expert who came to Los Angeles in search of a colleague and remains in the US. The show was a surprise hit, making Hung the only East Asian headlining a prime-time network series in the United States. At the time, Hung was not fluent in English, and he reportedly recited some of his dialogue phonetically. In many scenes, Hung did not speak at all, making Martial Law perhaps the only US television series in history that featured so little dialogue from the lead character.

You get a cardboard case that holds 2 DVD cases that holds 5 discs per season (see attached pictures).
The picture quality seems to vary on each episode. Generally the picture quality is good, you do get some compression artifacts, particularly on fast moving scenes! maybe they put too many episodes on 1 disc? or maybe the source wasn't great?. Audio quality is very good. The episodes I have watched appear to be uncut and run approx 44-45 minutes per episode. There are no subtitles.
I have included some screen shots to give you an idea of the picture quality.
I was hoping the picture quality may have been better, also some special features would have been nice.
A great set, maybe a little overpriced though!
Also super glad that it finally came out on DVD. Took ya long enough PTB.
Also, the show holds up so far, I'm in as far as episode 7-8 in season 1.
90s cheese, but that was expected and loved.
