Marukan Vinegars
Originally brewed from a fermentation process based from sake, rice vinegar was developed in the 1600's in Japan to preserve rice without refrigeration.
Producing rice vinegar with legendary taste takes time. Marukan Vinegars are slowly and naturally brewed using traditional methods developed by over three centuries of experience. The delicate aroma, rich flavor and mild taste of Marukan are all the result of this natural brewing process.

Tradition of Quality since 1649
In the Tokugawa Era in Japan, there was a saying that “Masamune means Sake and Marukan means vinegar.” As a showing of the lasting quality of Marukan vinegar, the name of the company’s founder, Suyakanzaburo was written on every barrel of vinegar produced.
Established in 1649, in Kiyosu, Japan, Marukan has over 370 years of experience making vinegar. Throughout Marukan’s existence the company has evolved from a small family business into a respected and world known brand.

The Bottle is really thick, taste really good and it's well packaging! They wrap it with a bubble wrap to make it safer. The price is cheaper than going to actual asian store around here.
