This encyclopedia is over 439 pages and has some impressive artwork and detailed descriptions of more than 1,200 Marvel characters. There is even an introduction by Stan Lee.
I am so glad I got this and highly recommend this book.
Ant-Man, Yellow Jacket,Giant-Man and Goliath are all Henry Pym, and this confusion is well-explained in this book chronologically, including the circumstances of the changes. Wonderful book for all Marvel Fans, new or old. Makes a nice gift as well.

Thank you AMAZON for providing this book at such an affordable price...
The packing was so good and delivery was also on time, but the book had a small scratch at the back but that is very negligible only.....
Definitely this masterpiece deserves 5 stars....
Everyone gets their own entry and it covers everything from major characters like Captain America, Iron-Man, and Thor, to up-and-coming characters like Captain Marvel, to the less known or even the utterly obscure (hey, you want to read about Bi-Beast or Triathlon, they're right here!).
Bigger characters get several pages dedicated to their long histories, where as lesser known characters may get half a page or just a couple of inches. Each character has a biography and image(s), as well as information on their powers, height, weight, first appearance etc.
The closest I could get to a complaint is that if you already own the previous volume that was released just a few years ago, then you're obviously going to get a lot less out of this one than if this is the first time you've picked one of these editions up because not all of the characters here have been used in the interim period and so a lot of the information here hasn't changed from the previous editions. Additionally there is no information on the hugely successful Marvel movies - this volume is dedicated entirely to the comics that inspired those movies.
Other than that however this is a faultless piece of work that should delight any real fan of Marvel, it's characters, and their stories!
Has detailed description on every marvel character. Good thing is that it keeps him occupied with his head in the book.
