Mary E. Lewis, was born in Oregon, February 1939, the fourth child of poor parents. Her life is not unlike most women of her era, with one difference; she received her call to write for the Lord when she was ten. She had no church affiliation and didn’t know anything about the gospel message; yet that little girl deeply loved the God and Jesus she knew through the celebration of Christmas and Easter. One day she secretly prayed to him asking if she could do something special for him. He immediately answered with, “I will use your hands to heal.”
In 1980, she heard and accepted the truth about Jesus Christ and rebirth in the Spirit of YaHavah. From that day on, Ms. Lewis has been under the tutelage of YaHavah, the one person who inspired righteous men to write the Bible, the same person who told her he would use her hands to heal. Since then, she has written and published many Christian articles for her website, and eighteen books, including her Word of YHVH Bible, and has a dozen book projects in the works. She has an internet presence through Christians for Life Ministries she founded in 1990, and has a Bible centered blog.
Her goal in Christian writing is to help others understand that a relationship with Jesus and his Father is not an affiliation with a church or organization. It is a personal relationship with our Creator by being of one mind and heart in the Spirit of YaHavah through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Ms. Lewis believes that one mind in the Spirit means there should be no diverse doctrines or Bible disagreements among faithful Christians. YaHavah is the teacher of his commandments and they do not vary from one group to another.
Ms. Lewis states, "YaHavah said he would teach us, so let him do it. Now is the time for all believers of Jesus to test the spirit of all doctrines to see if they are of YaHavah, and begin again with the fresh words of Jesus Christ given to him by his Father. We must remember that Jesus was a monotheist Jew whose Elohim and birth father was YaHavah (YHVH), the same Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now Jesus is the Head and true Christians, anointed in the Spirit, are the Body. That is the true Church."
