Mary Ellen Boyd is a writer of all kinds of genres: fantasy, Regency and, she says, most important to herself, Biblical fiction. Her special passion is building fictional stories around factual accounts. She has three Biblical fiction novels, TEMPER THE WIND, HIS BROTHER'S WIFE, and WARRIOR OF THE HEART. She also loves English history, and has one Regency novel out, FORTUNE'S FLOWER, with another that she hopes will be available in summer 2017.
There are more books in the pipeline: more Regencies, a time-travel, and if the muse strikes, she would love to find another Bible story that begs to become a novel.
She has been happily married since 1982, in May, the prettiest month of the year. She and her husband have one son, who is now married himself to his high school sweetheart.
