Flavor Name: Ginger Snap
I am a huge fan of ginger snaps. When recently diagnosed as needing to be gluten-free, and recently pregnant, I've been on the hunt for GF ginger snaps. I've tried three:

Mi-Del Gluten Free Ginger Snaps
Annie's Homegrown Ginger Snap Gluten Free Bunny Cookies
Mary's Gone Crackers Love Cookies Gluten Free Ginger Snaps

1. Mi-Del
Texture: a bit grainy. Crunchy, but crumbles in the mouth in that gluten-free grainy way that is not my favorite texture
Ginger flavor: middling, a tiny bit spicy on the tongue but not too much
Sweetness: sweet, like you'd expect a cookie to be
Size: about 2 inches, and about 1/4 inch thick
Density: the most heavy or dense of the three
Overall 2 or 3 out of 5 stars

2. Annie's
Texture: a bit grainy, but less so than Mi-Del. Very crunchy. Little goldfish-sized crackers perfect for kids or snacking.
Ginger flavor: the most mild of the three, has that gingery hint to it, but not enough where it is spicy or leaves a tingle on the tongue
Sweetness: mild, less sweet than Mi-Del. More like eating an animal cracker than cookie. Tastes great with a slice of cheese.
Size: about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch, and very thin
Density: light
Overall 4 out of 5 stars. If you wanted a kid-friendly cracker-like snack, this would be 5 of 5 stars

3. Mary's
Texture: VERY crunchy, not at all grainy. Texture was the least "gluten-free" like of the three. Felt like I was eating a regular cookie.
Ginger flavor: very spicy. I could only eat two or three crackers before my tongue needed a break (but I'm not big on spicy foods in general so consider me on the sensitive side). I actually prefer a ginger cookie to be like this though. Plus, it killed my pregnancy nausea in minutes - bonus.

OK, I am sold!!!! These cookies taste great. I am actually very surprised. And... in my opinion, the best ingredients you can get in any cooky anywhere. Low glycemic palm sugar, palm oil (none of those toxic vegetable oils), whole food flours, chia seeds, gluten-free, etc... I will be ordering a ton of these. I wish Amazon would carry the double chocolate flavor as well so I can get them delivered via my Prime membership. Amazon... are you reading this? :).

Um...these are so seriously good. I'm not making this up - they taste like Chips Ahoy! I have been gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free for about 7 years now and these just might be the best gift I ever bought for myself. Too bad shipping isn't prime. I got them at my local health food store. I tried one just to see if they were going to be any good and nearly ate the whole box. I'm eating some right now and just had to give them a shout out somewhere here in internet land.

I'm restricted by allergies to gluten to a super clean diet. This is the closest thing to a treat I can have. Most people imagine they're eating gluten free by eating corn, or barley, or rice. I can't even eat any of those things. This does have some rice flour but unlike actual rice it doesn't give me mind-blowing pain. If you can eat corn, then YOU AREN'T GLUTEN SENSITIVE. I had to learn the hard way (and a trip to Mayo Clinic at big $$$$) to be told by a big-time immunologist that there are at least 200 gluten proteins and only tests for a handful. Mayo does some that aren't available anywhere else in the world and yup, if you have a GENETIC sensitivity to gluten then avoiding wheat is not going to be enough to stop your symptoms. It has brown rice, potato, amaranth, and pea flours but not enough of the rice and amaranth to give me symptoms if I only eat one or two a week...it's not an easy life. However as far as taste, these are AWESOME!! I mean like a REAL ginger snap with real molassas and everything. They are super yummmmmy!!!

These chocolate chip cookies are very dry but the worst part is the earthy flavor, they taste like dirt. I did appreciate how they weren't too sweet and have healthy ingredients, but they aren't pleasurable to eat and I wish I hadn't bought so many boxes through subscribe and save.

Flavor Name: Ginger Snap
I tried some other gluten free gingersnaps and I think these tasted the best. There was no grainy texture. It was crunchy in the same way a regular non GF ginger snap would be. The taste is excellent and more pronounced (IE. more ginger spice) than other brands I have tried. When you are in the mood for something different this fits the bill, plus the ginger is good if you are feeling nauseous.

I love these cookies! I can't explain it, except that they are both spicy and sweet at the same time and the crunch is amazing! Finding gluten free products that actually taste good is very difficult and I like these better than any regular ginger snap I've ever had. Pricy but worth it if you have to be gluten free.

I can eat oatmeal cookies again! With three bad reviews I had to stand up for these great n'oatmeal cookies. I was not searching for a gluten free alternative, I am allergic to oats. These cookies are chewy oaty tasting and great for a healthy snack craving, especially when topped with powdered peanut butter or dipped in soymilk.
