The official Mashable Android application delivers the latest coverage from Mashable.com. Mashable is the largest independent news source dedicated to covering digital culture, social media and technology. Mashable reports on the importance of digital innovation and how it empowers and inspires people around the world. Android 2.0+ is recommended.
Open the app, strange white rectangular box pops up with a message about not finding articles on this channel and asking to try again...So anyways towards the top is a toolbar like menu section when clicking on topics the error message pops up and stays up, when clicking on "android" a list of articles show up along with the error message...but when pressing a article the article is blank and the same error shows up at the bottom of the app. So the owner of this app should take it down or Amazon should because it doesn't work on a Amazon Kindle hdx 7" .
Mashable updated their official app at least 6 months ago and Amazon continues to only have this out of date and no longer functional version in their app store. Don't bother with this one...use a non Amazon device if you want to access Mashable.
I've had Mashable on my Mac for awhile now, but this version for the Kindle Fire is very lacking. Images don't show up on the main page, and videos are no where to be found. Uninstalling and sticking with my Mac version. Too bad.
