The bowl is beautiful, but expensive. When it arrives (well before expected!), the packaging was pretty flimsy. I was shocked it was in one piece having traveled across the ocean. But I noticed a few places where the glaze was either missing or where there was a scratch in the glaze. Because it's an expensive piece, I was planning on returning it, but the seller offered me 50% off, which I thought was very fair. I now have a slightly-defective but still beautiful bowl at a fair price. I was very happy with the seller's response, and when I emailed the manufacturer regarding whether the defects were just part of the glazing process (I want to be fair), they responded quickly. Overall, I'm very happy. Now I just have to start baking more and use it and my new stand mixer. (Too much Great British Baking Show!!)

This item is very pretty, but very fragile. Be careful with it. The one I received already had a small piece missing. I gave it a 4 star primarily because the business worked quickly to get the issues resolved. In handling this bowl it seems so delicate and I would have been afraid to use it really, so unfortunately I can’t recommend this product at this time.

A great mixing bowl from one of the UK's most iconic kitchenware manufacturers. I feel lucky to have purchased this bowl, as I found out around the time of puchase that MC were discontinuing some of their classic mixing bowls in bright colours (at least for the timebeing), so stock availability is whatever's left in the retailers stockrooms & store shelves. It's great to look at and a pleasure to use when you're manually mixing up a cake or pastry - for years I've been using a much smaller diameter glass bowl, which invariably leads to a lot of ingredient on the worktop, or limitations on mixing quantities. Now, I can just get on with the task at hand with my colourful S12.

I bought this to replace another Mason Cash bowl that I had owned for years that finally chipped. Although it is easy to clean, my electric hand mixer whisks have left marks that won’t come off. If you are a baker that needs a large sturdy mixing bowl then this a good choice.

Larger than I thought...my own stupidity. So I don't use it as often as I thought, really only when making a batch of bread. Glorious colour really brings a lift to my kitchen. Easy to wash. I only gave 4 stars as it does not have the flat facet that I remember from my youth that helps balance a large bowl on a table or worktop. I'd still recommend. I'll be buying another smaller one soon.

I bought the turquoise bowl and the colour is just beautiful.
Would have given it five stars but it arrived with a flaw in the glaze and it has been naughtily covered up with a sticker on the side of the bowl.
Poor Mason Cash! This isn’t on.
The first thing you’re going to do is peel off the stickers and then it’s obvious. Seconds should not be sold at this expensive price tag.
A little bit disappointed but I can live with it.
Just feel it’s a bit dishonest.
