A Must Buy For Mass Effect Art Fans!

First and foremost, calling these posters is really a bit of a stretch. Traditionally, posters are printed on a thin paper stock and these are printed on a much thicker paper/card stock, much like postcards. This should really be called Mass Effect: The Print Collection but thats just nitpicking. Regardless of what thier called, the end result is just a great collection of Mass Effect artwork at super affordable pricing. The size of this artwork is 12"x16" and while that is definitey much smaller than the official Mass Effect prints that Bioware released through Treehouse Brand Stores (those prints were 18x24), this collection allows you to buy 20 prints for roughly 1/10th to 1/15th the cost of a single Treehouse/Bioware Mass Effect print as those prints were extremely popular, sold out very quickly, and are very expensive now as they can run you anywhere from $100 to $300+ each, depending on the print. Not to mention, many of those original prints are very difficult to find. So this is a great way to get that same Mass Effect artwork for very little money and the best part about the thicker print/card stock is it allows you to easily display them in a variety of ways. You can use magnets and display them on something metal or you can even just lean them up against something. Thier thick enough to support thier own weight and don't roll up like posters. Of course, if you want to matt and frame them, that is certainly still an option.

I actually own all of the original Bioware/Treehouse prints, but I purchased this set anyways as I keep the Bioware/Treehouse prints stored in a portfolio and only have "The Team" print framed and displayed up on my wall. Buying this smaller sized set allowed me to display a lot more Mass Effect artwork out in the open. I have 4 displayed in my photography/matting studio (I used magnets to display them on the side of my filing cabinets and print file cabinets), a couple displayed on my bookshelves simply by leaning them up against the books, and I have a couple on display in my gaming room.

All in all, I have become a big fan of these Poster collections. I also own the Assassins Creed Poster Collection, The Halo Poster Collection, The Gears of War Poster Collection, and The Elder Scrolls Online Poster Collection. Some of the other Poster Collections have 40 posters as opposed to 20. They have the same amount of prints, but thier printed on both sides as opposed to just a single side, but even with just 20 posters, this Mass Effect Poster Collection is still just a killer deal.

Bottom line - I sincerely hope we continue to see more and more of these poster collections released! They really are just a great idea and are perfect for people looking for gaming art that doesn't cost a significant amount of money and if your a big fan of Mass Effect...well, this should be your very next purchase. I just noticed a few days back that they actually have a Star Wars Poster collection now as well so its nice to see they are branching out and adding movies to these poster collections now as well. I immeditaly ordered the Star Wars collection and will continue to keep my eye open for an new poster collections. Again, they really are just a great idea and the price couldn't possibly be more reasonable. All in all, I can't possibly give these collections a higher recommendation.

A great release for any ME fans and for poster enthusiasts (like me). Each and every poster has great artwork and I like how I decide which posters to hang up and which to leave in the book (being a poster enthusiast I hung them all up anyway).

The material is nice and firm and overall this is a very well done product. Only downside is that each poster has a white bar on top and bottom. It's not that terrible so buy this anyway.

oh em gee these prints are gorgeous. I've been a die-hard Mass Effect player since 2008 and on a lark, since moving to a new place, decided to get stuff to put up on the wall above my bed. This is the first time I've bought swag-merchandise from the series. My only regret was not paying a bajillion more dollars for a giant poster of Liara in her Shadow Broker outfit. Hubba hubba :D

Amazing quality posters, didn't realise how many posters we were getting and we coupled these with some inexpensive frames from Wilkos where they have truly stood out. We've not used all of the images yet and wanted a split between some of the environments versus the actual characters as we wanted something that could fufil our need of a landscape image, with sci-fi being an excellent theme! Well, look for yourself how they look! :-)

This game poster collection was a new purchase when I comes to gaming merchandise for myself. Due to being a major fan of the game series I was intrigued by the idea of having high quality posters from the series. When the product arrived its was well protected by a cardboard insert and arrived unbent. On opening, the product front cover was striking with bright vivid colours as well as sharp quality. Going through the collection, each image had the same quality as each other. The images themselves include a variety of Mass Effect lore such as groups of characters, individuals and iconic buildings/vehicles. My only nack about the collection is not wanting to remove the posters from the collection as I am happy enough with them in the protected 'book'.

The price I payed was just under £13 and if more poster collections of gaming series were to be released, I would not paying more. Overall, the quality and amount of prints makes this set a bargain as if sold individually I would imagine the collection would be a lot more.
