Here is why I did that and am reviewing it before I read the rest.
I met Matt at a bar years back. I found him to be an interesting individual with great personality, interesting insights, and a passion for living a full life. After I learned his passion for writing and shared mine for reading. I have since asked him to email me everything he does over the years. Poems, short stories, he has even shared stuff that he hasn’t finished with me. I love his mind. I love where he takes us the reader and I want more.
So while I’m sure to enjoy the rest of the book and the writers it represents, I’m excited to see something published by someone who I have been a fan of for a long time. More more more. I can’t get enough. Keep giving writers like Matt the platform to share their work with us all.
Her piece, Ahead on a Stick, is poignant, well-written and a reflection of modern city life - this short story is not to be missed.
Take a read and you will not be disappointed!
