Currently only available through Direct Song, this huge 4-CD soundtrack includes unused and unreleased tracks by composer Jeremy Soule. All orders made before December 23rd will also be personally autographed by the composer.

Look out wallet, here comes Skyrim!

God, yeah...that thing looks amazing. And signed by Jeremy Soule, to boot.

I've read that the deadline for a signed copy is NOVEMBER 23rd, even though the page I posted says DECEMBER 23rd. I'm much more inclined to believe it's the earlier date.
If you want it signed, get it now.

Seems to have been changed. Now everything says DECEMBER 23rd. Seems like an awful long time for the him to be signing them.

The music/score excerpts that you can hear in "The Sound of Skyrim" video just makes the wait for this game all the more agonizing.

Jeremy Soule, you dark fricking wizard.

I already knew this but felt the need to post here how my wallet is hemorrhaging as well. Between the collector's edition game, hardcover guide, and this soundtrack, my Skyrim bill comes to nearly $200. Money well spent but it's still a lot.

Sweet. I'm definitely getting this. I've been paying a guy from Norway five bucks a day to scream dragon shouts in my face. Now I can just listen to the sweet sounds of Skyrim instead.

Jack Pacini says:
LMAO! How many days have you been paying him? Is he at least spending that money on his own copy of Skyrim?

@ Adam Kreger:

If it's $30 bucks going straight into Jeremy Soule's pocket, I say go for it, sir. ;)

Bethesda could easily be charging *twice* what they're doing for this game, and I'd pay it in a hot heartbeat.

I've pre-ordered this! delivery to the UK meant all-in it costs $37.99 which is £24. expensive for a CD set yes, but it looks real lush!

It's been available online for two weeks... if you know where to look. :) 236 tracks- mostly for cutscenes and smaller tracks for loops and ambient stuff.

Those are the in-game audio files. This is an organized soundtrack with unused music and variations.

Anyone know how to tell if and when it has shipped? I received no status of shipping yet and I have no idea how to email them...yes I pre-ordered the soundtrack before the 11th.

Artie, if you haven't' already you may want to contact directsong about shipping to Germany.

Or, I recommend making the purchase and entering your address at checkout. If you cannot enter Germany you know they won't ship it to you. :)

I recently contacted the customer service department. They said they just got the item from manufacturing and now the composer has to sign them. They're hoping to get them to us by Christmas.

So this CD set basically takes a month to ship and arrive? Awesome.

It was a pre-order and it arrived signed.
