It is designed for use on trucks, SUVs, 4X4s, and RV tires, but also works well on passenger car tires and inflatable household items. Masterflow air compressors have correctly sized direct drive motors, and a properly sized motor allows more efficient air flow and results in faster inflation time. Includes air compressor, carrying bag, air filter and needle adapters, with a 16 ft hose, and a 10 ft cord for convenient maneuverability. Get your 4 wheeler out, low tire....damn. Stop by the QuikTrip to air it up and some jackwagon destroyed the nozzle. GET one of these and never have to hunt for air again. Yeah you could buy one of those big compressors but try carrying it around. This thing is small, portable and most of all powerful. I have air atv, car and large 4x4 mud tires. The MF 1050 can handle the job. Battery clamps perfect for power when and where you need air. Power off of pick-up, car or your atv. I should have bought this a long time ago.

P.S. don't forget tire plugs for emergency repairs.

BEAST MODE

I was using some discount auto parts cigarette lighter pump and it was taking me forever (6-8 minutes) to pump up a slow leak that wasn't a full flat. It's a little inconvenient that this pump hooks up to the battery (so you have to pop the hood, or run a good power source to it) but once it's hooked up IT WAILS. What used to take around 7 mins is now usually less than a minute. This hums like a real little air compressor. So, it's more expensive than a lot of other options, but I think it's built like a brick outhouse and handles cfm like a boss.

My only con is that with the little screw on air filter, I wasn't able to get it back into it's carry case, so I screw it on and off every time.

. The hose connection issue noted by others seems to have been remedied. The thread on the connection looks like 1/4 npt, and it it has a standard quick connect male fitting on it to connect to the hose. The screw on stem connector is not a problem either, it is quite ingenious. it slides somewhat so you can start it threading on the stem and when it starts to hiss, push the connector into the stem to seal it and continue screwing it on, Taking it off works the same in reverse. utilizing the threaded connector is easy and more air tight than any clip-ons that I have used.
I topped off the tires on my Dodge duelly to 65# much faster than I expected, added about 15# in what seemed like less than a minute. and put 90# in my overload air bags with no problem.
I will see how long it lasts, but it appears to be very well built.

Compressor gets TOO HOT!!

I thought this would be a good compressor for airing up after the drive on beach based on its reviews. The compressor works well and airs up my tires fairly quickly for a small compressor but it gets so hot when i use it that i burnt my hands on it several times. When i am down airing up i Cannot put the compressor away or it begins to melt the bag that it came with. I have to put the compressor in the bed of my truck and drive home with it there to let it cool down. I expected the compressor to get warm or a little hot but it gets extremely hot.

So far I've only used this 2x for filling my air shocks. I had to make a separate air hose with a filler that is held on by hand pressure. I tried using the screw on tip that came with it, but by the time you unscrew it all the air leaks out. Not a problem with tires, but air shocks don't have enough volume to do that. The reason for the 4 stars is the storage bag. Once you get the pomp out it's like trying to stuff 5 pounds into a 4.5 pound sack. It will go, but the frustration level is high. I went to Harbor Freight and got a 15 inch tool bag for 10 bucks and it fits great. Of course that adds another 10 bucks to the cost of having this pump.
Another this is the cheesy filter. I saw a YT vid where a guy swapped it out for a valve cover breather filter, which I will be doing,also adding more cost.

Made out of solid materials, but a complete joke

Product gets hot very quickly, built in air pressure guage is a JOKE and absolutely useless, screw on thread for tires is a huge pain, and could not get it to pump a standard car tire beyond 20 PSI.

Pretty solid buy, consider the next step up if used to inflate larger than 33"+ offroad tires.

Primary use is as a backup/emergency compressor. Have filled 4 - 35x12.5x17 (filled to 32 psi from 12 psi) Nitto mt tires, takes approximately 20-25 minutes total.Read more
