Used this product with the Roofbag Explorer Waterproof soft car top carrior and the non-sleep roof mat. I was moving from Seattle to Utah, and this strapped that bag down so nicely that it never budged nor slipped.

These straps are used in our rental company to secure stacks of chairs on pallets and tie rolled-up inflatables. Its a rough life but these lashings have fared well. Since our straps are constantly getting lost, ruined, or stolen it doesnt pay for us to buy high end, expensive ones. We have used several different brands of lashing straps and these have lasted the longest. They seem to resist abrasion better and the cam buckle lasts longer. So far the only problem I have encountered is the ends are prone to fray. This has been the case with any brand of strap we have used. The problem is easily remedied by cutting off the frays and using a lighter to melt the end. If you are in need a light weight lashing then I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these. So far, We have used about 50 boxes (100 straps), we will be buying more.

These are perfect straps for tying down cargo. I use two of them for each of my kayaks, which I transport in car roof racks and "J bars." They do not have hooks or ratchets, just a simple locking buckle that holds securely, and releases only when you want it to.
This is the only type of tie-down I use, and this one is of very high quality. (I trust it to hold an $1,800 fishing kayak atop a car, traveling at 70 mph.)

The pin that holds the retainer clip in place was malformed and mangled on one of the buckles.

Typical "Made In China" quality control ------- a human wrapped the strap around the buckle and secured it with a rubber band while looking at the mangled pin.

Shoulda went to Harbor Freight...

This was by far one of the best investments I've made for "home improvement" and it was so inexpensive! I used these straps to cinch together two twin-sized mattresses. After looking through kits made for bed conversion, I happened to see this option and thought, I could give it a try... and I'm so glad I bypassed the expensive kits for this simple solution!

They aren't anything special to look at, but they do they job. I'll admit that they were a tiny bit difficult to get around both mattresses, but I managed to border the entire bed with these straps and then tighten it up. For the first time in a long time, the mattresses aren't moving, and I'm sleeping so much better because of it! They fit so snug you cannot even tell once you pull the sheets over.

Granted, these straps are not made for a bed, so they don't come with the filler wedge or any of the little deals that help make the surface of the bed more uniform, but I don't care about that. I just wanted to keep the mattresses together, and these definitely do the trick.

Great to secure rooftop bag to top of SUV... a little added security on our road trip.

Works great! It's the new strap for my trunk bike rack. The old one broke from months and months of use and sun damage. This one I'm using to replace it. It's a lot longer than my old one but that's fine because I can cut it anytime I want. I've actually since used a belt buckle to keep it in place. It's been in the rain a few times and doesn't look damaged in the least. It has lasted a warm California summer as well. It came with two so now the other one just sits and waits... maybe if the first one breaks after a few years I can just use the other one. Oh and I gave it a few tugs and the locking mechanism is solid. I wouldn't secure big items like fridges or things like that but bicycles and lighter things are fine.

We used these to strap a bag full of luggage to our roof, and also to hold stuff on a cart while camping. It's great that they're long and easy to clasp - before we got these, we were using a bunch of bungee cords linked together. So these are better than those. BUT they're still not very strong - the fabric is so smooth that it slips through the locked buckle with not much pressure/force at all. We kept having to stop and readjust frequently.

I use this to secure a toolbox in the back of my truck from sliding around, and for other general purpose lashing. It is easy to thread the lightweight 1" webbing through D rings and through its own clasp. The webbing is soft, so it won't scratch paint or other cosmetic surfaces. It can be cinched quite tightly, and will stay tight. Pushing the release lever quickly releases the web tension. At 12 feet, it might be inconveniently too long for many applications, but of course is easily cut to shorter length.

This is a handy lashing strap for light duty applications (rated at 100 lbs. tension). It will perform just as you would expect, as it has for me.
