About the Author
Today Aaron spends the majority of his time HELPING MEN GROW IN SUCCESS AND SIGNIFICANCE as President and Founder of VIEW FROM THE TOP, a premier life and business coaching resource.
Aaron's new book, View From The Top is guaranteed to motivate and inspire you to live a successful and significant life. Also, Aaron is the Co-Author of The Mastermind Blueprint endorsed by many including Seth Godin. Aaron has a vibrant history that guarantees to inspire you to reach heights you never dreamed possible.
Aaron values his time spent with family and friends above all else. Sharing the past 37 years with his beautiful wife, Robin, has been nothing short of spectacular. His two fantastic daughters and wonderful sons in-law have given Aaron and Robin five beautiful grandchildren. When time allows, Aaron enjoys the great outdoors, not limited to but including hunting and fishing.
Aaron has two life mantras:
Fear missing an opportunity more than you fear failure.
Can't couldn't do it, and Could did it all.

What is more, they are not some theoretical ivory-tower experts, but practitioners. Tom & Aaron run several (or dozens?) masterminds groups and they've been doing it for a few years. Aaron Walker was a part of a mastermind group for decades. Their accumulated experience is beyond impressive.
Thus they pointed out some rarely brought up aspects of running and being in a mastermind, like how trust is both the fabric and grease oil for a group of people meeting regularly together and discussing their lives and businesses. If members can open up and be vulnerable, the effects are so much better. On the other hand, when trust is abused it can be destructive for a mastermind.
If I have any issue with "The Mastermind Blueprint" it's that it is short on stories illustrating specific points. This book reads like a textbook. It's a great textbook, it talks in details about specific technicalities, for example advantages of online meetings over live meetings, but it lacks those little stories packed with emotions that make lessons more memorable. I regret it doubly, because I'm sure both authors have many such stories up their sleeves with their extensive experience.
"The Mastermind Blueprint" is an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to lead a mastermind. It is also a solid resource for those who are hesitant about joining a mastermind, especially if they don't understand the benefits of such a group setup for growth.
Compounded experience of the authors makes it really THE mastermind blueprint.

I was really hoping for some example stories of what happened in the allegedly many mastermind sessions in which the authors were involved; instead, I was gifted contradictory advice that is acknowledged as such in the text (in the instance where the virtues of both in-person and Internet groups were extolled)! This, and many other faults, have given me the impression that this book is just an attempt to make some money (whether directly or indirectly) by providing authority (we wrote a book) and pointing the reader towards the authors' web site where the reader can be upsold on their paid mastermind group(s). The latter would have been legitimate had the content been marginally beneficial.
I haven't pointed out all of the flaws of this book, but I think the point is clear. I wish the authors luck, but I can't condone selling such mediocre content at any price. I think they should have given away their self-published book for free and hoped that some will not find it tedious that they will buy their other products.
