Pardon the nonsense 1-star review at the bottom (probably didn't even listen to it). Had around 2 spins so far and this is looking like a modern gangsta rap classic, at the very least is the MBDTF of Rick Ross albums.

Every feature on here is fire. Lil Wayne pulls though in a big way on 'Thug Cry', French sounds really great on the tracks he appears (amazing I know), 'The Devil is a Lie' is a fantastic song with Jay Z doing his thing. The Weeknd track is pretty great too

The clear elephant in the room is the beats, Ross has some of the best production in his entire catalog on this one album. This man knows how to choose beats and knows how to get smooth over them. Its not lyrically on point as the beats are (if you're looking for illmatic just get out) but Ross does get smooth over every beat and his low voice does a lot to set the tone.

Overall this is easily my favorite from Rick Ross. The smooth production, lyrics, features. He went in on this.

Ricky Rose does it again! Production is solid and rhymes were nothing less than what you'd expect to hear from him. Tracks like "Nobody" Feat. French Montana are tight. He used a snippet from meeting where someone secretly recorded P Diddy screaming at one of his artists that gives you chills. Other notable tracks are "What a shame" also Feat. French Montana, "Supreme" Produced by Scott Storch , and "Sanctified" Feat Big Sean and Kanye have a deep soul stirring Gospel feel to it I highly recommend this Album!

The production on this is perfect, the mixing and mastering make sure each song has a certain pop. Just a great sound overall in the album. Favorite songs are Sanctified, Mafia Music 3, Thug Cry, Rich is Gangsta, hell I like just about every song. Perfect amount of features and only when it makes sense. In other words, no Drake, 2 Chainz, and the other usual suspects. Overall his best work by far.

His best album ever. There's ups & downs but the downs are good and not bad.The standout traccs are, Drug Dealers Dream,The Devil is a Lie,Mafia Music,War Ready, & Blk & Wht.Two traccs can go{Intro included} an that's "Nobody" & You Know I Got It{Reprise},What's the reason for those two songs? Just bump MCHG & Life After Death.if You'll looking for a harder Reprise tracc then bump Wake Up{Reprise} from Brand Nubian. That song is way better then the original...There's no energy on none of those 2 traccs from Ricc Ross.

First of all, The Devil is a Lie may be Ross's best song. It is clearly Jay-z's best verse of this decade and I dont skip Ross's verses to get to it so he held is on. Ross charisma and sheer power and energy of his delivery is as coptivating as Jay z's lyrics.

The production on this album is Incredible and Ross has improved as an MC

Revel in the homage paid to ODB, BIG, camp lo, the songs 93' till infinity

I'll probably delete the skits off my phone because the are long and kind of awful but the Music is Damn good.

Enjoy.

Rick Ross, until now, was a run-of-the-mill rap artist in my opinion. This album, while having the common obvious radio singles, has better writing and production then any other album he has made to date.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this album. Rick Ross usually just have about 2-6 tracks that's nice on his albums. And it always usually be the first 2 songs. But on this album, I like at least 14 tracks easily. He snapped on this album. And I'm not really a true Rick Ross fan.

Pick this one up and hear it for yourself. And I'm also skeptical of the bad reviews because this far from being bad or average imo.

E.J.
