If you want to see the brother hood and true biker life then this is the one to watch. The movie is a comedy but walks the walk and talks the talk. I rode with a club and have gone on funeral runs and see alot of our trips in this movie.
The bar scene and the restaurant had me ROFLO! The look when they say "all these people are ahead of us". The campfire party was wild. Most bikers are good people and this is how we live and party.
Live to ride ride to live!

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 1999This movie is to bikers what Real Men is to spies and Wise Guys to gangsters. David Rasche is the master of the comedy of understatement - an impish Jack Benny "Who me?" innocence. See it but don't spend $75.00 - wait until the studio drops the price.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2008Everything came in perfect order and I like the hard cover box to better protect it.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2018A excellent comedy with a grain of truth, and to this day still one of my all-time favorites. I stumbled on this movie purely by accident many years ago. A true gem that was never given the spotlight it deserved. I can't think of anything to add that others have not already put out there. If you have an appreciation for bikers or comedy you can't go wrong with Masters of Menace!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2012I love watching movies about Bikers. Stone Cold and Beyond the Law are a couple of my favorites, but Masters of Menace is hilarious. This movie needs to be on DVD.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2007I really enjoyed this film. As a former rider with a "club" in the 1970's, I remember those times and people with an insider's view. Contrary to all the Hollywood "biker" movies, this film is a far better representation of the experience of being a club member during that period. The desire to "just have fun", and tweak the insecurities of the "straights" without really hurting anyone, is right on the mark. Also very accurate is the tendency to do things without considering any negative consequences. Hollywood has taken 5% of the "biker" lifestyle, and portrayed it as a continuous confrontational, violent existence. Masters of Menace accurately reveals the other 95%, and the sometimes childish enjoyment of the experience. It brought back lots of good memories!
