I had Dr. Eves for an instructor at the University of Maine in 1969. He was a great storyteller and a first rate mathematics instructor. Class was always interesting.

Loved books took courses from Howard Eves many years ago. Since then taught math years 38 but more importantly they named the building after him while he was still living!
