"Mathematical Discovery" gives more concrete picture and Polya shows the edge of the wisdom. We have many logical mathematician but he is exceptional because every single problem and explanation is based on the real classroom and even the little advice gives a big help to the real math class.
After reading just the first chapter and solving about the half of the problems at the end of the chapter, one day, I discovered that I was solving problems faster than anybody else in my class. After that I become one of the strongest in my school in mathematics and physics.
This book changed my life for good. I read it in 1970. It is one of the best book I ever read.
