The appealing visual style, with wizards and other characters explaining the math on nearly every page, compensates for any pedagogical flaws completely. This is a handy gem of a book that strikes me as both witty and international.
Like I said all the other stuff about the book was great. I feel like this would be getting a styrofoam copy of a Michelangelo statue. The product itself represents something really nice and I like to have it because it reminds me
Of that good thing, but the reality is it falls short and lacks the substance.
