I found it pretty easy to pick up

My employer got this keyboard for me after I injured my right in a firework accident. I found it pretty easy to pick up. It takes a little experimenting to figure out the correct key combos but for regular typing it's pretty easy. Once you get good at it you can type pretty fast. I use it with my left-hand and honestly think it's best used left handed. The space bar it oriented for left-hand use.

After half a year of use the "E" key would enter twice whenever it was pushed. My employer still had the receipt and was able to get it replaced free of charge.

I chose 4 stars because the product is outrageously priced for a pretty regular plastic housed keyboard. If you don't have the money to blow then I would pass.

Left hand for typing, right hand for fapping

Finally, a keyboard that lets you type with your left hand whilst doing "something else" with your right hand. Just use your imagination.

Could be cheaper...

I spilled my coffee on the left side of my keyboard and convinced my employer it was better to spend the money on half a keyboard vs buying me a full new keyboard.
It turned out to be quite the undertaking, we had to build onto my desk to add a half sliding keyboard tray for it. I also had to buy a USB splitter as my only available USB slot was being used by my half working full keyboard.
In the end it was all worth it and we saved double this price buying a new keyboard. But after it arrived and we realized it was only plastic and not metal we thought the price could have been a bit cheaper. Say $75 cheaper and it would really be a steal! This thing was fused by titans and forged with their best 4* relics in mind.

Right hand mousers only, conversion successful

We got the Halfkeyboard as a gift, but unfortunately I use my left hand for the mouse. The Mrs. already has a split keyboard, so why keep this? Well, it turns out that you can re-program the thing to be a mirror image (for us left-mousers), flip it over and presto, you have the "other half". Unfortunately, they leave this detail out of the specs (hint!). As an added bonus, our feline friend, Felix, has fallen in love with it, and uses it on Tuesdays for his cat blog!

My only complaints: It's a little pricey, though we wouldn't be without it. And, you can't convert it to a Dvorak keyboard layout, which we have used for over 20 earth years.

With a little practice

This is not a product for everybody.
To use it you need to be a touch typist and need to devote time to training yourself to it. My regular speed is about 45wpm and I average 18-20wpm with the half-keyboard but have not been working hard at it for more than a few hours.
I have used this keyboard in Windows and Linux, both with the dvorak keyboard layout. I am sure that qwerty will also work fine.

If you can devote the time to it, can touch type AND need to have your right hand free for other things, I recommend this product. For anyone else, don't do it, you will just set it aside and go back to your old keyboard.

Update:
I agree with the other reviewer, an index for the F key would have been greatly appreciated. (I am finding this lacking on many keyboards lately.)
