I have used a variety of mouse and keyboard combinations from the couch and this is my new favorite. This mouse was made by the same people that make G-box products so theres no doubt that its compatible with the mx2.

The good:

INCREDIBLE RANGE! This thing works from the room across from the TV. Far better than anything Ive used before.
Very accurate pointer. Of all the gyro keyboards I have tried this one seems more accurate and easier to operate.
Mouse toggle button is on point! You can hold button and move mouse, let go and cursor stays in position. much more convenient for clicking or you can double click the toggle and mouse stays running constantly. Very useful.
Not too big and not too small. This thing fits perfect in my hand unlike other bulkier styles. Its the size of a real remote.
Great style design. This is the sexiest gyro remote I have ever seen.
Priced right. It's less expensive than others. Good value!

The not so good:

Runs on batteries instead of rechargeable. I prefer rechargeable. Although I havent had to change the batteries they probably last a long long time but still.
Sometimes when pressing the mouse toggle button to move the mouse and let go the mouse pointer keeps going. This only seems to happen if I let go in the middle of moving. Not sure if this is a feature or what.
Still need to use the MX2 remote to turn on and off the box.
Overall this is a GREAT BUY if you have the MX2. For the price I havent seen a better gyro keyboard/mouse combo yet. Even with its not so good qualities I still highly recommend it.

It would seem that a remote made for the G-Box by the same company would be better than it seems to be. Granted I have not had it long and as it is I can say it works....but i think it should and could be a bit more user friendly. I also have a full size keyboard that works but who can relax with that in your lap watching anything? I was lucky enough to find Droidmote that works superb on my Galaxy S3 for free and the extra app by the same name that has to be installed on the G-Box for under 3 bucks. So for those who have an Android based phone it does not have to be rooted but the box does, save your money and get the Droidmote and you have all controls and more over the remote that comes with the unit. So as it stands I have the original remote that comes with the unit, a full size keyboard I bought because I needed more control than the OE remote gives you (well it may do it all but it will take you all night trying to input text with the on screen keyboard) and this remote and have over 50 dollars worth of remotes and I think that the remote I have under 3 bucks in apps is heads and tails above all 3 that i have talked about.

No power button. That should stop you right there. No power button?! Jeez....I just don't know what to say. A remote without such a crucial button is just beyond ridiculous. Batteries started expelling acid in the remote and rendered it useless in under 1 year. Blast you, dollar store batteries! Besides that, when it did work I had to keep pairing or resetting the pointer so it wouldn't slowly creep to one side of the screen. Not a very good purchase for me.

I've only had this 1 half day, but the minute I got it I didn't like it. All I wanted it to do was swipe and it doesn't. That being said the "fly" part is iffy at best. It goes off in all directions and even when you let go of the "M" button it still does what it wants. I went to remove a directory which means you hit "C" for content, once you hit "C" the cursor flies off the screen for no reason. Not only those things, but I still need a mouse because this remote won't do all of what you need it to. I thought for 50 bucks this better be good....well....it isn't. It is way better than the standard remote don't get me wrong. I just think for 50 bucks it should be the end all and it isn't. I'd give it more stars if it was cheaper, but for 50 bucks I want something that works. Buy a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for 20 something and save some money....this isn't worth 50 bucks.

The range is good, and the concept is sound. Specifically, far superior to the Favi wireless keyboard with trackpad, which has terrible range and is physically fragile.

Two complaints:

1) When you release the "mouse" button while moving, the mouse will continue to move. I have no idea why they would cosider this behavior desirable.

2) When angled up too much, the mouse cursor gets finicky. I wish the accelerometer was calibrated to expect an angle of 0-90 degrees, as opposed to -45 to 45.
