Broke my old SR1000 not sure how old it was, first model year, dropped it and well thought I see if they still make them. Yes all plastic now, but at considerably less than the $50 I paid a long long time ago. Same model number same manufacturer, just plastic still the best tuner for those with very poor hearing, gets you in the ball park before the clip-on....

Very nice little tuner

Sturdy, solid tuner. Works well. You can plug the lead cable in from your electric, or play the acoustic guitar into the microphone on the front

I've been playing for 10 years and have only needed a couple of these.

Plays with a 9 volt battery (not included). Made in Korea!

well made & accurate; I bought for a niece who might have trouble tuning her guitar by ear; these things are great even for accomplished guitarists as U can make sure you are totally in tune with all other players

After going through a half dozen digital guitar tuners in the past few years, I am relying quartz tuners. They are much bulkier, but provide for a more accurate tuning. Matrix SR1000 is a fine product.

An excellent tuner for the casual guitarist. I prefer the analog-style needle display as I find it gives a more accurate readout than some of the inexpensive LED tuners, which can vacillate quite a bit. The mic for acoustic tuning works well, and the in/out setup for electric guitar is great for tuning during performance.

I'm giving this 2 stars because there is always the possibility that I was not using this tuner properly. But from my experience and use of this device, I was not impressed because it was not consistent. I could go thru the strings tuning them one at a time and immediately go back to the first string and this thing would not read the same as it did just moments earlier.. was not impressed.
