I like this product and have gone through a 1oz bottle purchased directly from Timeless. I'd read reviews about Timeless Vitamin C serum from other sellers, saying the batch they received was old an discolored. So I was a little worried about buying a 4oz Matrixyl 3000, even though Timeless assures 2-years shelf life after manufacture. The box I received in the mail today was sealed with the manufacturer's silver band, and had a date stamp from only two months ago. It looked authentic. So I'm hoping it's true and real. I like paying $20 less for the product than I would if purchasing directly from Timeless.

As for the product itself, I like it because it's one of the only products that dermatologists in peer reviewed journals say actually boosts collagen significantly enough to be noticed. I wanted to try retynol, a proven collagen booster, but I'm out in the sun every day so just doesn't make sense to increase my skin's photo-sensitivity, which in and of itself causes wrinkles for those of us who are outside often. Matrixyl 3000, on the other hand, does not increase skin's sun sensitivity. For me, this is a huge plus.

I have a noticed slight improvement, I've been using it for about 2 months. I'm a realistic person, and appreciate small improvements. There's no miracle fountain of youth out there. I've noticed a reduction in fine lines, and a small general overall improvement in elasticity. My skin just looks a little more robust overall since I've decided to use serums. Just do your research! And buy a reputable brand.
